Remarks

Overall the sastra is a good place to have once career foundational studies. Sastra provide every chance to the students to prove them and there capabilities and shoe what they are really. Overall a good college to pursue ones studies.

Entrance Preview

Based on my intermediate marks I qualified for the admission into SASTRA. I chose SASTRA for its brand and name through out tamil nadu not only lyrics for this I had known some of the seniors who suggested me to join SASTRA as it best at what it is for.

Internships Opportunities

Our college is one of the best colleges in tamilnadu so most of the MNC's will offer internship to the students and companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Lister, Google etc the iwill be maximum of 6 months the stipend will be around 15 thousand to 20 thousand.

Placement Experience

5

One of the best colleges in providing placements to their students in the year 2012 our college stands in first place in south India and created a record. Nearly 50 to 60 MNC's visit our college every year. Companies like TCS, IBM, ACCENTURE, ZOHO, AMAZON, ROBERT BOSCH, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, VERIZON, KLATENCHOR, WIPRO, TECHMAHINDRA, MUSIGMA etc every year TCS will hire 1 thousand people minimum and they offer 3.2lakhs per annum, ACCENTURE will hire 400 people with the same package, IBM will hire 300 people with 3.5lakhs per annum these companies will play major role in providing placements.

College Events

4.5

There are many cultures and technical fest we have such as Daksh, theta, krukshasthra, coloseium and many more for every event there were thousands of participants from other colleges and states too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was distributed depending on the different aspects like labs, curriculums, sports and many more i would say it's not more expensive and reasonable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not a good place for to talk about scholarships but internally our college had the policy of getting some amount from each student included in fee structure itself and contributing to those students who are not able to pay the fee coz of family financial crsiscrisis.

Campus Life

5

In our department the ratio of boys and girls is 1:3.when coming to hostel parties we will celebrate brth dy parties and hostel annual day party there are many technical feasts done in our college and all are National level feasts like DAKSH held in the month of February every year, THETA held in the month of March every year the robotics competition contain robo race and robo sumo is a game where two robots fight inside a ring and these are part of THETA. KURKSASTRA Is a cultural feast held in the month April every year which contains dancing, singing competitions. COLLESUEM is a sport feast.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel and mess facilities were good and upto the mark i wouldn't say the best but good and reasonable the one could not complaining and one couldn't say there wasn't a room for improvement.

Alumni/Alumna

I dono much about alumini of our college but I have heard a word and saw a bit here and there in college but when it comes to the support from seniors who are not alumnii is the best thing they ad best as the other friends of ours.

Exam Structure

I would sastra has best exam structure which would benefit student at most both in challenging and learning basis we had 3 internal continual internally assessments and one final semester exam in each semester, same for the 8 sems.

Faculty

4

The faculty is always available for the students when it came for supporting them and also encouraging them to do all the innovative kind of stuff technically and the curriculum is too good.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
