Over all I would give a 7.5/10 for this college. Positive is it has excellent research facilities. Negative is the sports facilities are horrible I should say for a college like this. It doesn't even have Proper cricket ground and restrictions on students completely deny students freedom and for girls it's like jail for them. But in one way a safe place for girls.

More than 80% of the students will be placed every year with average salary bieng slightly over 4 lakhs per annum. As of now we can go to internships where a college recommendation will be provided but there is nothing like the collge is providing internships but currently they are working on it to provide direct interns.

Well in the odd semester are minor fests like the mini version of the mega events or fests happening in the even semester. Mini technical fests are there for every branch in odd semester like utsav, hinges spardha, samyuk etc and cultural mini fest is Carpedium and one sports mini fest called FURA.

Tution fess is around 1,10,000 rupees and hostel accommodation 12000(average and varies) and a average mess fess of 3500 per month. In total it would cost around 1,70,000 amd not more than that for sure.

There are hell lot of extra curricular activities going on in the college and only thing you should have interest and there is no stopping you. Labs amd research facilties compete with the NITS AND SOME IITS. Coming to sports it is lagging i should say, now there is no proper ground for cricket but football and other 15 games there is very good place and facilities.

It has the biggest hostel accommodation than any other collge in Thanjavur district. It houses for more than 10000 students easily and food is a concern for people coming from outside Tamilnadu and takes some time for you to get used to this food. Water, other facilities are not bad i should say. I would rate 3.5/5 for Hostel facilities and food etc.

It has excellent allumini network with 20 years of allumini network. Senior students are so friendly and helpful unlike in many other colleges and three is no demon called ragging at all in this college.

The admission process is pretty clear. Entirely based on merit rank list they give based on your JEE Mains and your 12th marks be it state board or cbse or what ever it is. It has two streams where in stream 1 rank is given on the this basis 75% 12th standard marks and 25% JEE MAINS marks, and stream 2 is entire based on 12th marks. Also there is local Thanjavur, Trichy and Tamilnadu quota where the locals are given preference as in any other state. One more way to get in to this college is yiu have to be the child or some way related to an NRI as in any other college. In short for a normal lstudent to get in to this college is score well in JEE MAINS and 12th.

Most of them have pHD about 67-75%.Most of them are experienced and work in research activities too. But like in many other colleges there are few lectures that doesn't fit or not at all eligible for thier job. Over all there are helpful mostly and passionate except a few.
