Very good B-School for MBA in Odisha.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is msinly structured for the development of the students. Our college goes under the BPUT here is the xm structure,1st n 2nd semester,you have to read all the subjects and in 3rd Semester,you have to choose your specialization.

Placement Experience

Astha school of management provides best placement opportunities for the student. They got many awards for the placement drive. In 2017 best adequite awar n 90% of got placed in that year. And college deals with the best companies for the SIP.

College Events

Our college is full of events. There many events are occured. The college gives priority in all the fields.the major events are freshers function,teachers day, and orientation program lasts for 15 days,Rangrezz which is mainly happens in the time of holi,Prakalp is SIP orientation programme where many colleges from the India are participated n shuttle smashers a badminton event n the events are go on.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much compatible for the middle class people.all students are not that much of money to join in Very big colleges.But here astha school of managemdnt provides best best quality of teaching in low fee sturcture.

Yes, Astha school accepts loan faccility n also provides the schoolarships like prerana,e medhabruti etc.

Campus Life

They mainly focus to increase the communication level n to learn the proffesional activities.They are focus on GD,INTERVIEW,WRITTEN TEST,PRESENTATIOn n sports like cricket n badminton.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I opted for the hostel.From 2019,Astha School of management builds his own hostel with in the campus.I found the environment n the quality of equipments are used there is superb n the hostel fee for staying is 20000 rupees per year.

Admission

By the ojee entrance exam and it's merit list. Firstly I gave the ojee entrance exam. After the result comes, I secured very good rank. On the basis of the rank,I applied for Astha School of management, whichi is now most emerging B-Schools in Odisha.

Faculty

I found, ASTHA School Of Management gives a very good platform for the students to learn to improve. Astha school of management always provides the best faculties for the students and the commitee always evaluates the faculty.

Students become eligible after completing their internships. Generally after the 2nd semester students start to sit for the campus process. Companies like: Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Big Basket, SBI securities, Yash Technologies, In2IT, Asian Paints etc visit for hiring top talents from this college. Almost every student gets placed and further assistance is provided too. Majority of the students pursue their corporate career after getting placed, while some also go for higher studies. Others also ppt for entrepreneurship opportunities. Highest Package: 16.2 lpa Average Package : 4.5-5 lpa

Likes

It has state-of-the-art architecture with a blend of culture
Has highly talented professors along with efficient pedagogy
AI enabled classrooms, great cohort and learning environment

Dislikes

The food provided at the mess can be improved to some extent

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

The night life if good, and for me gym is the best part
The faculties have good experience and teaching skills
The mess food is also good as of what is expected as stereotype.

Dislikes

The classes some time are too much to handle
The n number of rules and regulations regarding the hostal
The basketball court and cricket ground could have been better

The course is all about management where I get to learn how to manage time with daily n number of activities. Because PGDM course is actually to prepare a person for corporate life. And this course is actually a corporate simulation with education.

I was having prior experience in HR, so i took the course to enrich my knowledge 1:30 was the faculty-to-student ratio all the faculty were experienced in their domain with vast domain knowledge. The exam schedule was tough, and various exams used to happen on a daily basis with term exams at the end

Campus life is quite interesting with activities happening every month
Renowned faculty is there to guide us and the lesson plans include a lot of practical thinking
Placement is decent and plenty of renowned companies come on campus.

Dislikes

Time crunch. With so many activities students often feel burnt out

By 5th semester the student is eligible for final campus placements. There are more than 50 companies that visit the campus and the college boasts a 100% placement record. The highest package is 72lpa and the median is around 20lpa.

Admission:

I got admission to this college by taking the OJEE entrance exam, so I was exempted from taking the entrance exam like MAT, CAT, etc. And then, after my OJEE results were declared, I fill out the application form of this college and then, I attended the counseling session.

Remarks:

Management is limited and it is best. Faculties have immense knowledge about the subject and explanations by them with examples are easy to catch. Lifetime learning it becomes.
