Remarks

Our college is going to be Autonomous within next few months. This itself is one of the biggest achievement for our college. The standards of the college would be highly increased and also the quality of education would be greatly affected. At present, I do not have any negative remark about out college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is all good for the streams that have been provided to us by the university itself. The subjects that are present in our course curriculum are maintained in such a way that we get the best out of it in a proper manner. Coming to Exam structure, we have two internal exams, each for 25 marks, which are held in our college once in every two months depending upon the academic calendar sent by the university. We have our final semester exam for 75 marks, which will be held during the end of the semester. We have to write this exam at the exam center that has been allotted to us by the university.

Placement Experience

3

There are several opportunities that are provided by the college when coming to the career building and placements. The placements cell officer rolls out notifications and messages right from the beginning of the academic year to all the eligible students. Yes, college provides internships to the students. I have done my internship from ECIL, Hyderabad. I have gained a good amount of experience by listening to professional lectures and also attending some live projects. There was no stipend at that time, but I am happy that I have received the experience which was required.

College Events

3

There are various that are celebrated in our college. Right from the year start, the student council member group manages all the events that has to be conducted during an academic year. We have events like Flash Mob, Nostalgia, Alumni meet up, Under25 Summit, Media events, and all the traditional events like Teacher's day celebrations, Sankranti celebrations, Dussehra celebrations etc. Every event have a theme set for it. Students engage very well in all the events and make them a grand success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is kinda feasible, our college has the lowest fee when compared to the college's that are present in the surrounding areas. Although the fee structure gets changed depending upon the university. The fee structure is divided into categories such as Tuition fee, Exam fee and Transport fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college does not provide an scholarship or loan facility. The university provides scholarship to the students of a some specific castes, which is also called as reimbursement. The reimbursement fees depends upon the students and it is paid by the government to the college.

Campus Life

3.5

We have many activities that go on particularly every week. We have student council members who get engaged with the students and overall maintain the activities that go on. Every class has a sports hour every week, we have labs thrice a week, depending upon the academic subjects and curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

3

I am a day scholar and have not opted for Hostel. I have few of my friends who have opted for hostel. The infrastructure of the hostel is well built, they provide many facilities to the students such as 3 times food, Hot water in the morning, free WiFi etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of this college is called as "Specanciens". They are very helpful to present students. They conduct events such as technical events, Fun events, every month regarding the development of the students. They sometimes even bring some professional speakers to our college so that students can make their progress. I am very glad about the Alumni network that our college has.

Admission

We can get a seat in this college in two ways i.e., firstly by clearing the EAMCET exam with a good rank which is below 20,000 (depends on the caste), and second with the help of management quota. I got admission in this college through management quota. My admission process was in the following manner: At first, I needed to confirm my seat by paying a minimal amount, and then later within a week I had to pay the fee for the first year of the college. During this week, we had all the steps of document submission. By this, the admission process gets completed and then I received the call from the college regarding the opening of the college and the orientation day.

Faculty

3.5

There are many faculties in our college who hold a doctorate in a particular stream. Many experienced professors who got great teaching ability and experience. The faculty present in our college teach the students with live examples that are actually beneficial to the students in understanding the concepts. They are friendly and very polite in understanding the student's concerns. They have good experience and knowledge so that they could deliver the best to the students of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
