Remarks
Everything in the college is good. But they won't celebrate festivals much. There are some silly rules in hostels. No ground at present.
College Events
Our college celebrates many event like sports events, technical events and cultural events. The Colosseum is a inter college sports event, which take place in our college every year. Kuruksastra is a college level cultural event took place in our college. Daksh is a technical event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is feasible. Because the quality of the education which they provide and the other extra facilities like library,gym, labs, etc are provided and smart classes are available for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides educational loan in a bank. Those who want to get educational loans, they can get it immediately after they complete their counseling and get seat in this college. The percentage of interest is also low.
Campus Life
Labs and extra curricular activities are good.Some sports are good and some of them are not taking care much.Gym should be developed much.Ground should be developed.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure and facilities are decently good.But sometimes the food may be a problem. Disciplinary rules are very strict.Good rooms and good environment. 3.5 out of 5 will be my rating.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the senior students are more helpful for us to guide in proper way to do each and every thing apart from the studies. Alumni association is also available in our college, which gives them proper notification on any programs.
Admission
I got admission through merit,as I have a decent decent score in 12th and JEE Main. The admission process in SASTRA is solely based on merit. So the answer to the question is No. To be precise there will be 2 streams 1. Based on JEE score and state marks(70%seats will be allotted in this stream) 2.Based on state marks (30% of seats will be allotted in this stream)
Faculty
The faculty of our college are always available outside the class and they give reference and guide us in project work and paper presentation works. They also make the so interactive with students. We can contact them at any time regarding our subject problems.
