BIT Meerut, B.Tech

Reviewed on Nov 20, 2015

Remarks

Management was not good at all. They could have managed better.

Entrance Preview

UPTU, I got BIT in councelling.i opted BIT as my 4th priority and so was luck. which one to get was completely luck.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was a normal B.tech curriculum. Attending 9 hours of college and then assignments.

Internships Opportunities

In my college we have to find internship ourselves. College does not provide that facility to us. So it was quite difficult to find internship for us, so mostly we got was unpaid internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

In my campus, renowned companies which came were :Tata consultancy services (my current company) : offer : 3.16 LPAOthers were all small companies.

College Events

College celebrated FEST, ABHIVYAKTI- the name of my college fest. It was quite goods and interesting fun games, events and we prepared college magazine for that too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was definitely expensive. It is really hard for parents sometimes. But they didn't demand any extra money either then that on the name of exams or anything.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i got scholarship when i came first in my branch. That was quite good compensation and that was a very good way to appreciate and motivate us.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio was like girts 35% and boys 65%. No race or sexual or religion discrimination was there. So in that area it was good and we enjoyed Secularism.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms were good and big but the food, mobile signals, generel commodities were quite bad and we have take help of day scholar to meet our needs.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

No we did not have interaction with our seniors. so that was not a good experience for us and this could have managed better by the management of my college.

Exam Structure

All exams, labs, assignment kept us very busy, it was hectic for us. But sometimes it was cool and chilled out too. We enjoyed no matter what..

Faculty

Some of the faculties were quite good. They took interactive session with us and were very enthusiastic too. Some faculties were merely there for attendence sake.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
