The college is one of the best college in north india in terms of placements and academics. None other college gives more placement offers than this college and the average package is also very high.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chandigarh engineering college falls under punjab technical university. The course is quite balanced which allows students to follow other trends and also requires students knowledge about their subjects. Work presure is very balanced which includes weekly assignments 2 msts and semester exams at the end.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunity at cec is the best. Non other privatel campus offers placements equal to this college .It even levels the placement records of nits and iits in terms of placements. Internships are based on campus placement and average package this year was 6-8 lakhs.
College Events
Cec landran celebrates almost every festival and the clubs under dsw department and block eise events are happening almost everyday. The annual fest of the college is parivartan which is the mosst exciting event of the college and its preprations start from 1 month prior to the event . It gives platform for acting singing dancing and almost every event possible.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite less and economical with only 43k per semester fees. This excludes examination and parivartan fees which is to be paid in mid semester however college also charges for transport facility and hostel other than this charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
To the best of my knowledge college give scolarships to reserved classes and also to the students who came here through state counseling. College doesn't provide education loan facility but provides all the documentation needed for education loan.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are quite amazing in cec including all sports with a basketball court criclet and football grounds. College also promotes many sports tournaments every year to encourage students to participate in sports. Other than sports, acting singing dancing literary all talents have different clubs to be a part of.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors i.e 2019 batch was very helpful and kind. They always offered us an helping hand in terms of placements and academics. Raging is strictly prohibited and none of the senior demands for raging rather everyone believe in bonding amd have a brother brother bond with seniors.
Admission
I got direct admission as my grades were more than 80%. I entered the college with a hope of getting cse and got admitted into it. Whereas some people were sent back because of lower grades . Advance fees of 10 k was taken which was booking fees and refundable.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is quite young but some are very experience too. Tpp department is excellent of this college whereas regular teachers give good lectures and deep knowledge . Focus is highly on patents and projects
