Remarks

The college is very good.Not the best in Mumbai I would say but pretty decent.RAIT is the perfect combination of Fun and Study.It provides the environment for the all round growth of the students.The college is located at the very good place.The D Y Patil campus amazing.The Stadium is also in the Campus itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college comes under Mumbai University so the MU curriculum for respected branch is followed.Exam Structure is also according to the MU exam Structure.The course comprises of 4 years(8 semester exams).

Placement Experience

The TPC takes care of the placements in the college.Prof.Amarsinh Vidhate is the TPO.He tries his best to make sure almost all the students get placed.The placements are good.Almost 70-80% of the students get placed in top MNC's like TCS,WIPRO,LTI,JIO etc

College Events

Techfests are organised by every technical committee in the odd semester.Kalaraag organises Singing, dancing One act play, Photography and other cultural activities.Student union council organises the cultural festival Horizon: 3 days of Madness(Comprises of one Bollywood live in night and one EDM night)

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is similar to any other Mumbai University College.The fees for general category revolve around 1 lakh rupees whereas for OBC and SC/ST/NT categories the fees are around 50000 rupees and 3000-4000 rupees respectively.

Fees and Financial Aid

The top 3 students from each branch get 50000,25000,10000? each year respectively.There are special scholarships for people who belong to SC/ST caste which are provided by the Government.The EBC scholarship is also available for Economically weak students.

Campus Life

RAIT Sports organises the Extracurricular activities. DYPSA organises Intercollegiate Sports tournament which includes various sports.RAIT organises STAMINA which is held in even semester and Engineering Premier League (EPL) which in the Intercollegiate Cricket tournament.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for any hostel.The Hostel facilities in the Campus is only for Girls also the hostel is pretty good.Located at the good place.The hostel canteen provides amazing food.Boys have to live in rented apartments or As a PG but the rates are low and various facilities are provided in the rooms.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The almuni network is very good.Mr.Vijay Patil,Abey Kuruvila,Shankar Mahadevan are some of the Notable almuni.Alumni meetups are help from time to time in different countries.The Alumni website is properly managed which gives the notifications regarding the meetups.

Admission

You have to appear for MHT-CET test.Based on the merit list of MHT-CET you get a seat in the college.The cutoff for all the branches if different.Generally it decreses in the following order :1.Computer Engineering 2.IT Engineering 3.Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering 4.Electronics Engineering 5.Instrumentation Engineering

The faculty is very good.They are experienced.They are really helpful to us.Every department is located on different floor of the college.Tje faculty is available on the respected floor.They are always ready to clear up our doubts regarding any subject.

My College Life

Likes

The campus of our college is very nice. Everywhere there is greenary.
Faculty of each and every subject is very supportive and solves students doubt immediately

Dislikes

The lectures get cancelled any time so the localites day gets very hectic.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year atudents becomes eligible for placements if he/she has developed or built proper skills. Many companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. visit and there are a lot of offers made every year.

Likes

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

VNIT NAGPUR : The All You Need To Know

Likes

Reputation of College great outside as it is a National Institute
VNIT being a campus of 250 Acre has a very lush green campus.
Great Alumni Network Of the College so you required any help there are alumni sitting in every corner of world.

Dislikes

Lot of Workload..The prof of VNIT are very strict towards acads.
Some old building of College are not renovated yet.
There should be more than one canteen in college.

Placement Experience:

College's Training and Placement Cell is very active in providing placement to the students. Many esteemed companies like Google,Oracle, De Shaw, Goldman Sachs,etc. visit our campus and provides hand on packages and Interns to the students.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Likes

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

Dislikes

College infrastructure is small. it may become boring
It has old curriculum therefore it doesn't help in active jobs
Cafeteria is also small and boring and food quality is bad

As I have mentioned previously as curriculum is old with old syllabus you may find it irrelevant. As curriculum is old you may not find useful in active jobs You may need to find extra other courses in college

Placement is good. Campus is awesome with DY Patil stadium located inside the campus. Enough exposure to various activities as the same campus has medical college, law college and a hospital too. You get to interact with not only engineerings but with also students from BAMS, BHMS, MBBS and LAW. Overall good for personality development. Hostels and mess available.
