Remarks

Our college is one of the finest colleges in north Kerala. Most of students from village areas around depend on our college and it act is one of good instituition to depend upon in our local. Colleges infrastructure requires much development .We have less facilities at our labs and those need improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Our course curriculum is based on Kerala Technological University .Btech course as we know is 4 year with 8 semester. I have felt like the syllabus is ok. Comparing to other universities ours is a new university and hence new upcomings are made in curriculum and is improving. Coming to exam structure , we have 2 internal exam and an external exam(out of 100) in a semester. Apart from that lab exams are there.

Placement Experience

3.5

Training and Placement cell is very much active here. Training for placement begins from second year of the course. Students from our college have been placed at various companies like TCS,Infosys,Qburst etc. Our college does not provide internship opportunity.

College Events

4

We have Arts fest and Technical Fest every year which we celebrate to our heart. Apart from that we have events conducted by professional bodies like IEEE and ISTE. Our college union often organises various programs like film shows under film club , photo exhibition etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and is different for various admission categories. For merit category, tuition fee is 40000 rupees and for management category it is around 80000 rupees. NRI seats have around 1 lakh rupees as fees .

Fees and Financial Aid

Students are availed scholarships based on rank they have. Our college is under CAPE , a cooperative body and they provide scholarships to top keam rank holders (scholars need not pay tuition fees further). Apart from this college Alumni societies provide scholarships to selected students also.

Campus Life

2.5

Extracurricular activities like arts , sports are supported. We have activity block were we can practice indoor games .We have a football ground, badminton ground and a basketball ground. Our sports incharge faculty is much supportive and college sports team is very active. Labs at our college are of good condition though they require developments. Some of the labs need advancement and we expect them to be made soon.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni association at our college is supportive when college fests occur . They help students from bad economic background by providing scholarships. Senior students also help us with our activities.

Admission

One must clear entrance examination conducted by Kerala Govt. namely KEAM . After that based on rank you will be alloted colleges you apply for. I got alloted this college and I just had to go and take admission on the specified date.

Faculty

3.5

Facilities are good. Most of them have good knowledge in subjects. They are supportive in co curricular as well as extra curricular activities. Our current principal and HODs have doctorate and most of others are doing their PhDs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
