The best college life

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are good, with campus placements starting from the final year. Companies from different sectors visit the campus and offer roles based on students’ skills and qualifications. The salary packages vary depending on the company and profile. A good percentage of students get placed through campus recruitment. After completing my degree, I plan to start my career in a Digital Marketing or Business Management role and gain practical experience.

Nice environment, Student support system, living in a whole different world.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. Cutoffs vary yearly but are reasonable. Overall, the admission process was smooth and transparent, making it a good experience for me....Read More

I chose this college because i got MAERSK sponsorship and also the fees comparavtively to other colleges is less. Taking about the admission procedure, we need to clear IMUCET and the AMET CET exam and alsowe need to clear the interview with MAERSK (if passes AMET CET exam). Then the comapny conducts the psychological test in which we need to pass. Then we need to complete our medicals from DGS approved doctor and the comapny approved doctor to get into the college. Passport is mandatory while admission. Around 15000 students gets selected in IMUCET exam every year.
