Entrance Preview

I gave state CET in which i scored very well as i was getting a government college and no any college better than this so i opted my college to study which later on became a good decision for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very good. it was similar to other good coleeges in india like NITs the main intension was to skill students in every aspect the faculty, their main focus was on student's development whether it is of acadimically or socially there were a lot of inter departmental clubs and societies which takes care of various events and literary weeks.

Internships Opportunities

No they dont provide any internships but they do started some software training camps yes there were stipend for SC/ST women's quota some scholaships were given by the university.

Placement Experience

Placements are good for IT department but not for core branches like Mechanical, electrical, civil etc.

College Events

Their main focus was on student's development whether it is of acadimically or socially. there were a lot of inter departmental clubs and societies which takes care of various events and literary weeks.

Fee structure was feasible hostel fees was nominal no other hidden charges and fees was there mess was on monthly basis their main focus was on student's development whether it is of acadimically or socially there were a lot of inter departmental clubs and societies which takes care of various events and literary weeks.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic.
