Remarks
This is not a college it's a school were you always have to wear a id card and you have to wear uniforms on Wednesdays and if you don't were uniforms you can get fine of 200 . Don't get impressed by the block 9 it's there for marketing. It creates a false image of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently studying B.E. CSE at Chandigarh University and exam structure is good we have 2 mst's in a semester and final exams at the end of the semester and we also have our practical exams that tends to happen before the written examination.
Placement Experience
As my college saya that 400+ company's visit our college for placement but it's only for the " CSE department " as i am in CSE And talking about other branches i have no idea. This college has joint campus placement drives means students from other colleges also come here for the placement drive and the competition becomes tough.
College Events
Our college celebrates many evens throughout the year. On the monthly basis we have "tashan nights" in which punjabi actors and singers come to our college and our college celebrates CU fest and many more events throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is ok for the college for my branch as i am a CSE students it's around 80k per semester and it varies from branch to branch you can get more detailed information this on the official site of Chandigarh University.
Fees and Financial Aid
Chandigarh University offers loan facility and also scholarship for students. They have a condition for the scholarship that the student needs to maintain marks above 7.5 to continue their scholarship after the e semester or else they have to pay the full free .
Campus Life
Chandigarh University also have labs. We also have a sports complex in our college for students and they also have Gym facility for student but it's mostly full of students and you won't get equipment easily in the gym.
Alumni/Alumna
Firstly the seniors don't help here because most of the student come here for the degree not for the knowledge and the some who are good at studies, you won't find them easily. Second maintain distance with those who drinks or smoke because if you are going in that college for getting a job they will ruin you entirely so keep distance. Third always remember friendship is not everything in live you have someone more expensive than your friends your family.
Admission
Students can get admission online and also offline. I got admission online and for registration they charged me 10000 for booking my seat in the college and this amount got deducted from my semester fees.
Faculty
The faculty of this college is ok i would not say it's good, but they keep pushing you to study, which helps a lot for our examination but most of these teachers and not that experienced and they teach ok kind off, it's like just finish and go home kind of.
