Remarks

Here lies a series of opportunities, it up to you how much can you grab. Whether it is related to academics, sports, art, culture, dance, drama, acting or even entrepreneurship. This place shows you what it will offer and will help you to achieve it but all the work needs to be done by you.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very diverse and everything is scheduled. There is wide range of subjects which helps you to learn even about related fields. The Course Curriculum mostly helps to shape a person's mind and enhance their skills to the required level and even beyond. For instance lets choose the field of engineering, suppose Computer Science. Between the odd and even semesters you will get to learn various things that would be related to electrical or mechanical or even electronics.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, but I think it is through the University not in the University. Like the University has a collaboration with the different companies which provides the student internship of various fields and etc. For interested student can contact the campus ambassador and get the related details for the internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

This is one thing that the University is proud of, the placement drives that takes place in here are of numerous amount. Many known MNC's recruit students such as Microsoft, Dell, HP, Google, Infosys, Delloite and many more. If you are good enough than you get anything you want according to your skills.

College Events

4.5

There are n number of events celebrated in a yearly basis and in a semester basis. At first many celebrities have came in the campus for promotions, Bharat Bass is also organized where well known singers and DJ's are invited from all around the places. Sports events, cultural event from inter-college level to national level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For CSE the academic fees- Rs 70000 per semester. and the hostel fees- Rs 80000 per year. For students belonging to middle class family the fees is expensive or above their pay grade but for people around the particular place of the campus the fees is feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sports quota: If the student has secured any medal in national level in a span of two years than through sports quota the university provides few benefits. For Gold- There is full compensation for academic and hostel fees. For Silver- 50% compensation for academic and full for hostel fees. For Bronze- 25% compensation on academic and 50% on hostel fees.

Campus Life

4.5

In sports the extracurricular activities are the most praised and focused. Various competitions are held in the University, India Camps and many more. Cultural events are also held such as art, dance, drama, singing and etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel infrastructure is fine. Each hostel has there own benefits. Some hostels have plenty of space well some of them have attached toilet-bathroom. Some have elevators while some doesn't. In terms of food, it is consistent throughout the year.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior student are generous and helpful most of the time. As many of them are busy building their own life. They help us to learn from the mistakes they did and makes sure that we follow the correct path and act as a mentor to most of the student.

Exam Structure

The exam basically fulfills the two major parts of grading system i.e, the internals and externals. For internals there are MST's which are taken twice in a semester along with the surprise test, attendance marks and practicals which are examined according to the subjects. And for external part quiz, external practicals and Semester exam which takes part at the end of the semester.

Admission

I basically got the admission based on sports quota and my army background. There are seats reserved for SC/ST, OBC and for sports quota. There are various ways by which you can get the admission. Either you get on based on your marks in JEE mains or based on your caste or based on entrance exams where students are selected based on merit list or based on sports quota and many more. At first I got call from the university if I was looking for some college or not, then after some chat I went to the campus where I gave my trials but didn't qualify for the sports quota and then I got admission based on my caste and army background which required at least 60% and also you would get scholarship for which you have to maintain a "SGPA" criteria and then I got the seat. There after the Documents were verified and the fees was paid accordingly.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are experienced and has a profound knowledge with respect to there field. Most of the teachers are very helpful regarding the doubts and the clearance of the topics. Faculties are willing to give you that extra hour in order to provide better learning experience.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
