Remarks

For cs and It students the placement programme is a boon and for the rest is the otherwise. You will definitely leave with lot of hostel room memories and nostalgic bunk stories. So life would be great if you opt cse or bio or It. Don't go for other options here as the placement opportunities are less.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

They have adapted to bloom's taxonomy and the exams are quite easy if you study and you will have to learn everything by understanding concepts and not mugging up. So the study gets very gruelling around there. If you are an introvert and book worm you can survive. Otherwise, you would end up with minimal gpa

Internships Opportunities

Yes. You should do internship in any NGOs. They will recommend a few. You can also do internship pertaining to your subject and main stream. UGC had also made it mandatory for students to complete internships every semester. You can do it anywhere but submit the certificate for ods and stuff.

Placement Experience

3

I would say that you will get any job but not the job you had passion for and not the job you desired for. When you get out of college you will be placed in any job unless you're planning on going for higher studies. But it gets tougher for electrical and other stream students except IT and cs. Bio students have the semester abroad program and they would do internship in foreign countries if they pass the sap interview.

College Events

3

We have technical fest called daksh and cultural fest called kurusastra. They are celebrated big time around here and we also celebrate many microfests. In technical fest, the participants are allowed and many events like robotics and many more are here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is quite expensive, I would say but it is worth it. Relatively cheaper when compared to VIT and other colleges. So I paid 46000 rs per semester but now it has been increased to 60000rs for new joiners. For 8 semesters it would come around 4,00000 rs and additional charges at our cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has a tie up with a private bank and you can avail student loans at minimal interests. They will also open a new bank account for the freshers and a scholarship for poor students is also provided by the management.

Campus Life

5

Every labs are equipped with modern equipments and our college has seperate grounds for football, volleyball and basketball. It also has Organic farming, several clubs like English literary club, arts club, dance club, science club and many more. People who join here will learn a lot in their life

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are somewhat untidy and they are very old. But, hey at least they give wifi with fast internet. I lived in mega for 2 years and it was great. You would never forget your hostel life and will leave with lot of good memories. Regarding infrastructure, they have jeeva Chaitanya, a big biological lab and vidyut vihar and all. So you will have a lot of places to bunk and roam around.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful although some were totally biased and I get it now as it depends individually and differs with various people's opinion. They are really helpful in getting you a job. They will throw juniors some freshers party at first as a welcome gesture and they are lot helpful in guiding you to achieve things.

Exam Structure

Basically we have three Internal assessments but the pattern has been changed for new joinees. Out of three best two will be selected. So, it is a great thing; takes the stress out of students. Regarding semester exams, each subjects will be assigned several credits and you will concentrate accordingly

Admission

I wrote JEE mains and additionally my 12th grade marks was also taken into consideration. I applied through online and they announced a counceling date. I went to college on that date and I got the seat in SASTRA.

Faculty

4.5

Some are really good. They will encourage you to study more, clear arrears, help you with your curriculum and much more. But if you did anything that infuriated them, you are screwed up for life. You can honeypot professors for good cgpa but it won't last longer

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
