Remarks

The college doesn't provide AC to all the students thats the only negative remark for the college. In comparison to many colleges its a better one. The lecturers as well as the non teaching staff is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is the university to decide so the college can't do much about it. The Exams before used to have about 4-5 days between 2 exams but now the university has changed to 1 day PL (Preparation Leave) so that students could do their internships

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are quite okayish. This college is on the outskirts of Navi Mumbai in Panvel so the companies don't offer alot but its quite agreeable.as far as internships are concerned the college helps in getting them for you.

College Events

Our college has the Biggest fest in Navi Mumbai that is Alegria. Every year Alegria is celebrated in the first week of February. Our college also has EFL and ECL I.e Engineering football and Cricket league. The rose day, Friendship day and a lot other days are celebrated here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are feasible, 1.2Lakhs is what a general student pays. If you fall in any category it reduces gradually. A general student with EBC ie Economical Backward class gets a 50% Scholarship. No other scholarships are given by the college

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't availed any scholarship nor loan but my friend has. The college supports you to pay fees in installment but you've to pay the fees as the installment college decides. Only when the college has the proof of your problem

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are good, football team of the college is good and also the cricket team. Personally all sports in this college are good only there's a lot of support for Football than other sports. Big names like Nikhil Poojary and Rahul Bheke have been a part of this college. Mumbai Indians Opening Batsman Suryakumar Yadav had been this college student too

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and seniors are cool. They don't make you feel or realize they're your seniors they will help you in every possible ways. The anti ragging committee takes care that ragging doesn't take place.

Admission

The institute has an admission cell that handles all the admission which is where you need to ask about the vacant seats. The institute let's you know if there are any and depends on what course you select.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is amazing. They have all your support as far as academics is considered. The teachers would conduct lectures and if any student is facing in clearing their Unit tests they would guide them or mentor them personally

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college

Dislikes

Lot of Workload..The prof of VNIT are very strict towards acads.
Some old building of College are not renovated yet.
There should be more than one canteen in college.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember
