Remarks

The Facilities over here are really talented, supportive, motivating and friendly. This college has its own way of updating students for their incredible growth. Placement here are good enough and top MNC's are recruiting skilled students. Entrepreneurship are really encouraged and college does its support to students to motivate their interest. The hostel life is upto its mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is offered by technical institutes across India at the UG (Undergraduate) and PG (Postgraduate) level where students are awarded BTech and MTech degree respectively. Students pursuing the course will be taught about design, implementation and management of information system of computer hardware and software. Not many students would admit to enjoying taking exams or writing essays, but if you want to get a degree, they're an ordeal you have to survive.

Placement Experience

4

The placement are decent to good for a private college in India. It shouldn't be difficult to fetch a job as long as you keep your cgpa above 6.5 atleast. Also , the placement cell helps you throughout the process and makes it easier for you to land your first job. Companies like Microsoft, pwc , Tata Consultancy services, amazon , accenture , infosys etc visit the college for recruitments.

College Events

4.5

The college celebrates various events throughout the year. 1.) Mallika , it's the annual techno cultural fest of GMIT which is often graced by the presence of big names from the industry. 2.) Sports Day , GMIT promotes sports in all forms. Thus annual sports day is one major event of the year. Although , most students just take it as a day off. 3.) Ganesh Utsav , Graduation Day , Alumni meets etc are other important events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A fee structure is a chart or list highlighting the rates on various business services or activities. A fee structure lets customers or clients know what to expect when working with a particular business.

Fees and Financial Aid

None that I am aware of. Although the college does offer scholarships to deserving candidates but one needs to talk to the admin regarding this. Education loans are most available for students needing it.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are maintained nicely and have modern equipment for students to work on. Sports is also a regular affair at GMIT with plenty of students representing the college in a variety of sports at various platforms. Apart from this , GMIT has a lot of clubs one can get into. Retract, Leo , Tedx etc are some examples.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities are very good infrastructure. Food quality is also good and here provide hygiene food.we have hot water facilities and also maximum of 24 hours current around hostel we have park to sitting in that evening times.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes , the seniors are willing to help you out wherever they can provided you maintain a good relation with them. College host alumni meets for present students to get in touch with alumni. You can expect help from your seniors whenever you are stuck.

Admission

I take a entrance exam called CET and also My brother completed his post graduation in gmit , so he recommended to me this is the best Institute so I join and studying my bachelor of engineering in the institute.

Faculty

4.5

The teaching faculty is highly qualified , Trained and non partial. They'd be willing to help you out anytime throughout your course , just maintain a good repo with professors and avoid skipping lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
