Remarks

The faculties should be well prepared before taking up the classes. The lab and experiments given should be of good quality. There are few discriminations based on caste which were faced by few students, which should be taken seriously and avoid it. The food in the boys hostel is very worse during breakfast. The overall experience of the college life was very nice as the university is situated amidst the beautiful nature of farms. The faculties should encourage the students to take up projects and tell them about the new technologies and opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course covered all the necessary topics, there were few old concepts which are outdated. New technologies were not discussed in all the subjects. The labs were not that good though. There are 3 mid sem exams, best 2 out of the 3 marks will be taken for 40% weightage and 10% for assignments and other 50% from end sem exam.

Placement Experience

4.5

We have a 100% placement results in our university, all the students who opted for placements got some job through placements. Others opted for higher studies. Yes, there is a abroad internship program where the university sponsors selected students to go to their desired forgien University and do internship. Even after u got placed, u can do internship in ur 8th sem in the same company.

College Events

3.5

We have 3 major events. 1. Kuruksastra - cultural fest 2. Daksh - technical fest 3. Colosseum - sports fest We also celebrate all the festivals in the university and we have feats from individual departments also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is the best in terms of fees. It is the cheapest i know Per sem it was ?45,000. Now i think it is around ?55,000. Apart from these we have exam fees and other miscellaneous fees which are feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have 2 scholarship both depends on academic excellence. I have availed both. There are also some other recognitions for overall toppers each sem and at the final course completion. There are loams available also. The college accepts loan from banks, students have to submit proper document for that.

Campus Life

3.5

We have a big ground for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball. There are many clubs for cultural events. There are many bands for singing and dance teams, drama club. We have teams specialised in English and Tamil and hindi. We often participate in other college culturals. The labs are slowly getting better, it still needs a lot of improvement.

Hostel Facilities

3

I opted for hostel, there are 5 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. Girls hostel is better than boys in terms of food and infrastructure. But they are not allowed to be outside after 6pm. Whereas boys can be outside till 8:30pm. Food is not that good in boys hostel. We usually have power cut and water problems in summer.

Alumni/Alumna

There are many groups for alumni, they are very useful as they discuss about job opportunities, They often come for speeches in university on special occasions to brief us on the outside world and opportunities.

Admission

I wrote JEE Mains and secured a decent mark. I also got a decent mark in my 12th grade. These were the two criteria for selection. There are 3 slots, 1. National quota 2. State quota 3. District quota I went through state quota, if you have got better marks u can also apply in national quota. I filled the application form for sastra and they selected me in 2nd quota and called me for course selection. I went with all the necessary documents and a DD for first sem fee. I had vacancy in my desired course. And i got through it.

Faculty

3.5

Some teachers are very brilliant and few are not upto the level of expectations. So the course completely depends on the faculty. And the good thing is u can choose ur faculty for each sem. They all help in ur projects and if u genuinely have interest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
