Remarks

Our college is got good infrastructure structure facility when compared to all other government colleges. And have got best faculty, laboratory, staff facilities College is sournded by thick forest in the western ghats and too near to coast.

Our college is under VISVESVARAYA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. BELAGAVI. syllabus and examination structure formed by the University only.civil engineering syllabus is heavy and examination is strict with the presence of c c camera.

Placement Experience

Since it is a government college only government scholarship can be awarded. Placement and internship facilities are nil Definitely no stipend will given to any student of the college by the college authorities. Total experience is good

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government college student have to pay only government fees only. The total expensive required to complete the course in our is too less when compared with other private colleges. For eligible students fees consison also obtained.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is government college no scholarship will be given by the college authorities. It is given by the government for the eligible students. Even loan facilities also same expenditure will given by the college authorities based on this banks are offer educational loan facilities.

Campus Life

Extra curriculum activities such as laboratory are too good especially to our department (civil engineering). Annual sport's programme is also conducted by the college authorities. Laboratory infrastructure is also too good

Hostel Facilities

College hostel also there at campus. Also there will be BCM hostel at city. Both have good infrastructure facilities. In college hostel students have to pay monthly charges where as BCM hostel is only for the eligible students with no fees it's full of free.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network in our college has very good. All alumnis had high profile life's. Some of them are working as a guest lectures in our college especially in our department. Alumnis are give great contribution to overall development of the college and department

Admission

After 12th you have to write common entrance test. The merit list will be announced by KEA based on your performance. U have to enter the colleges in preferences. After seat alloted through KCET merit list download admission order then get admitted.

Faculty

Faculty in our college are very talented especially in civil engineering department. Some of them are permanent and some are guest lectures. Some of our faculty are obtained their PHD in their related subjects. They are kind hearted

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
