Course Curriculum Overview

Good course curriculums as the college is affiliated to punjab technical university all the curriculum are decided by the university and college have to follow them. And regarding exams are conducted on semester wise.

Good placement and job opportunities in college many startup based company came to hire freshers and many mncs also came for placement drives. College provide internships but actually i didn't did any internship so i don't have experience regarding this.

1.Panache: Tech fest include various technical and cultural events star night is also included and from last year i am a coordinator of this event. 2.Takshak:Tech fest this also include some technical and cultural events and From last 2 years I am coordinating this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible the provide packages in which fees of college hostel and mess all are included and the fees is not very high as compare to the facilities we get. I think the fee stricture is good of this college.

Now college is building alumni network since college is 23 years old. And now collefe is working on alumni network and i know some of the alumni of college and the are very helpful.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Admission

Got admission through councelling at patna rosemine educational and charitable trust and got scholarship from there. And then i came to college and filled the necessary details regarding admission and then got admission.

Faculty is good and they can teach and direct us very well the help us too after the classes. I think some of the teachers are like friends they also play games with us we also organise tech fests in our college together and many neighbor school, colleges participate in it.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

My College Journey

Likes

The things i liked most was it's lush green campus where you actually feels nature beauty
All academic buildings are well maintained here
There are lots of gurudwara nearby, which also become attractive spots for students

Dislikes

Sometimes you feel water scarcity in college hostel
There are many students who are addicted with drugs and cigarette
Mess food is ok but it can be improved, Most of the days food is oily

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

FROM CLASSROOM TO CONFIDENCE

Good and Huge campus, many states are there by which you will see diversity. And the Girls ratio boys is 62:8, this time in my course in 1st year there were only 8 girls in a class of 70.
EVENTS- There are events are conducted everyday.
There are many courts for all the sports for playing.

Dislikes

Mess Food is very unlikely to eat, the quality is bad.
During rainy season there will be everywhere water bulged up in roads infront of hostels.
High hostel price, the hostel after very small compare to what we pay if you buy room outside in half the same price you will get very good room with ac, fridge ,etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic.
