Remarks

Environment is good it's out from the city so peace is there and the majority of students are helpfull towards each other as well as towards college also so with this possitivity they may reach success

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In my dpt of biotechnology teachers are good and disciplined and lab condition is normal you can learn many things there but in some cases it's not up to the expectations because we want the graduate level labs

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements for B. tech CSE is 100% but for biotechnology it's 1% it's reality they don't have good TPO that's why students of other branches sucks in placements but it may be the fact that there is not biotechnology industries in that area

College Events

4

Events generally Independence day republic day fresher's lohri Holi Diwali and dushehra all these events are celebrated and other than this there are some sports meet and star nights which are good but there is no big festival like panache

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's actually feasible in some college they are very expensive but this college having a good budget courses and good hostel facility with mess food is normal but the thing is that the budget of hostel and mess is normal

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college has there scholarship program on your 12th percentage base and with this you can also apply for your state sponsered scholarships and national scholarships which are available college will verify you if you have one

Campus Life

3

Labs are Normal ground is very large and there are football basketball cricket and volleyball players in college and athletes and gym facility is there for girls also and extra basket ball court is there

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is good but food quality is not that good in mess hostel facilities includes wifi cooler drinking water that's it but overall I will say hostel is far better than college itself and

Alumni/Alumna

Yes very helpful seniors after passing out I'm in touch with most of them and whenever I face problem in life I call them usually and ask for advice and they don't hesitate to tell me the solution indeed

Admission

I was there in Shimla for my vacation I saw on board that this college provide b. tech in Biotechnology with minimal fee so I decided to go there and study biotechnology and then you went to that office and ask for procedure

Faculty

4

Faculty is not good right now there was a time when they were good but now everybody has left the college as the new management comes and strat ruling like emperor so they decided to left the College as well as our future

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
