My college review

Opportunities are provided but the service to avail them is not. Its very hard to get clearance for a certain issue. For example if you are suffering because of the fault of some faculty or administration ,it is you who have to put efforts to get rid of that problem.

The course curriculum is average , to be honest ita not great like we are always taught the base but not the advance and syllabus included in some subjects is not appropriate. Talking about the exam structure , the University's question paper is prepared by a system which randomly selects questions from the sample paper provided by the different teachers teaching the same subject. In my opinion its not upto the mark because the system cannot priorities questions on the basis of their importance in the subject and students frequently encounter useless questions and sometimes questions are weighted inappropriately

The University provides ample job opportunities and number of placed students shows progress every year. As my course duration is 4 years so the University provides placement drives from the very start of 4 year and it goes on till the end of the course. I don't know much about internship because they have not talked about it as such though the faculty members aware us about it but the University dont provide such internship. But the University has introduced us to organisation like Internshala which helps in finding the suitable internship to students.

Events are frequently celebrated in my University. Its like during diwali there's a diwali fest. Then we also have an international youth festival. Every month or in a two we have a DJ night where popular celebs come and perform. College fest is also there. We also have tech fest and other things too.

The fee structure of the University is quite good in comparison to other private Universities. I have seen Universities which are not good as Chandigarh University in terms of academics , placements and infrastructure but they still charge more than Chandigarh University. The University fee is affordable for a middle class man and the fee is reasonable too.

There is an exam conducted by the University before admission. The exam is optional and if you score good in the exam, the University provides you with some discount in the fees. Also if you have scored above 90 in your 12th standard , then also you are provided with some scholarship from the University.

University efforts can be clearly seen in this field as they conduct various seminars for the students. Labs have satisfactory systen along with the required software installed. Sports competition are also there but they are not that frequent.

Students are provided with an interactive session with the placed seniors which are very helpful. Senior students guide us and tell us how we can prepare for our goal and how we can get placed in a particular company. They also update with the latest requiment in our field.

I registered online for the course i wanted to pursue. As I am dropper so I provided my 12th class marks too within the form. I then got a call from the administration regarding the admission in which they told me that I am eligible for admission in the University and I can pursue the course of my choice. They further told that I can pay my tuition fee inorder to ensure my seat for the selected course. I then completed the formalities and ensured my admission.

The University has provided the number in terms of faculty but the quality of faculty varies. As there are many sections for a same course, so same faculty cannot be provided to every section so its on one's luck that whether he or she gets a good teacher because every subject has teachers with different teaching style and ofcourse differnt knowledge levels.
