Entrance Preview

I took the AIEEE entrance examination to select in Jiit. My score in AIEEE was 113 and my rank was 82226. From my childhood i want to join an engineering college. Jiit is the college I choose to complete my engineering as this is the best private college in NCR.

Internships Opportunities

My college internship project was good as I did my internship at a company which work on Android platform. They taught me basics of android. Unfortunately they did not offered any stipend to me. Actually it is depends company to company. There're a lot of companies visit this college like amazon, sap, zomato and many others.

Placement Experience

Approx 95% placements are done each year. There are many companies who visit Jiit (40 or many). Amazon, grofers, sap, Barclay, press play and more.

College Events

4.5

Annual fest, sports fest and cultural fest all are celebrated in the campus. Participation is good. Teams from many colleges come to participate in all the fest. At the end of annual festival college manages a DJ night in which DJ's from sunburn,vh1 come to play DJ.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is 130000 per year. 90000 to pay in odd semester and 40000 to lag in even semester. It is expensive fee as compare to other colleges. 50000 fee goes to development of college infrastructure.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I belong to a general family I don't have any benefits of scholarship. And I think that this colleges doesn't provide any kind of scholarship. There's one thing if your parents work in jaypee group then you will get some offer in fees which is about 40% .

Exam Structure

Exams are scheduled thrice in a semester. Lab exams also scheduled twice. Exam structure is very hectic.

Faculty

Faculty of my college is good. Some faculties are from IIT colleges. Some are ph.d qualified professors some are alumini of this college. Teaching experience of faculty is good. Their standard is very high as compare to other private colleges.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Some Points about JIIT

choosing jiit over other private colleges seemed like a smart decision due to it's good average package in Delhi NCR. I applied to the northcap university in gurgaon and i was selected there but after talking to students there and looking at the average package of the college i chose jiit being it close to metro station also it is in a good location too. Main reason was fro choosing jiit was also that i didn't had good jee rank to get accepted in the good government colleges. i also got into ipu but again the placements stats influenced me alot...Read More
