Likes

For me College Is acceptable, because it is completely affiliated to RAJUVAS and it is affiliated to VCI of India, So there is no need to worry about the degree.
The campus is eco friendly campus, with trees and plants. It is mostly like a park. with chairs with a lot of space.
It has a good basketball court and badminton court including the volley ball court also. It is the main attraction in this college

Dislikes

The faculty of the college should be improved with the professors, they are not able to speak english to students, they are using hindi. Since , there are students from south india, they should use english
Infrastructure of the college can be improved with the labs and museum of the anatomy lab to be improved. The skeletons of the animals should be replaced.
The farm facility in this college is not up to expectations. Too bad, it should be improved at the earliest and the farm is also very far away from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For me, from my childhood,I was impressed to this course, since my father was related to veterinary and animal husbandry. So for me being a veterinary doctor is not a new thing. Curriculum is relevant to the course. It is completely according to the RAJUVAS and the instructions given by the Veterinary council of India. The curriculum on the theory basis gives an idea about the course, but the practical curriculum gives us an idea about the real life applications to be practiced as a doctor. Since, i am 1st year, i am not able to suggest the improvements related to the curriculum. The course on an average is difficult, the frequency and timings of the exams are accurate and perfect based on the difficulty level giving as time for better preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams were conducted according to the instructions from the head University. Also, exams were postponed for ease of students when they complained about not getting enough time to prepare. Exams are moderate but the examination process is strict and fair

Life at ACVM

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.

I didnot apply for any other colleges as i was mostly interested in being a veterinary doctor since my 10th and i was prepared for the NEET exam. So my target was to get into a veterinary college. Since i didn't get to any other colleges, i didn't get rejections over there. I got a college according to my NEET allotment. Admission process in the college is through NEET exam and Rajasthan state exam for Medical students for their state quota and 30% for management seats. Eligibility is 50% for 12th grade with 2nd group science with biology, chemistry and physics. The cutoff of NEET was nearly 590 marks in All india quota according to NEET 2024. Most of the students are taken from NEET. The overall admission experience is not bad....Read More
