Faculty of Engineering Sciences & Technology, Adani University Ahmedabad, BE, Electrical Engineering

Reviewed on Feb 29, 2020

Remarks

At final conclusion, it's a good College with good infrastructure qualities. but in extracurricular activities and placements they do need to work. And also the teaching facility is also good enough. But if you are spending money in this college so it's not so good not so bad college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am doing electrical engineering. This is a 4 years course with 8 semesters. After every 6 month of semester end we will face GTU examinations. We face two type of exams: one is of practical exam which can be internal or external according to the semester in which you are and other is theoretical exam which is external as well as internal mid term exam.

Placement Experience

Since our college is established in 2015 only, only one batch is passed out till now. And the placement in that is average. Yes, they provide good internships in their own Adani vertical Adani power,Adani port, etc. The experience of the internship is very good and a great chance to learn the industrial things better. The internship are free and it doesn't provide any stipends.

College Events

1.5

ASPIRE- Annual cultural and sports fest Robotics workshop Entrepreneurship development cell E yantra by IIT Bombay Various days celebration Talent hunt EDM nights Expert lectures HR conclave Ahmedabad Marathon

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is semester wise. When you complete your semester you have to pay the next semester fees. The annual fees is near about 1,80,000. It's costly somehow comparing to the other colleges. But the infrastructure is very good in this college. It's expensive but.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college itself is not having any scholarships but the government gives scholarship to some students which is known as MYSY. the College have the loan facility they have tie up with some banks and they provide loans at a less rate of interest. government scholarship is availed by lot of students and loan is also availed by some students.

Campus Life

4.5

Very few extracurricular activities in our college. But sports facilities are very good. We have table tennis, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, a large cricket and football ground in Shantigram township. labs are also very good and well equipped. Also the practicals done in a right manner.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not so good because only one batch is passed. But some of them are placed by institute some of them are studying abroad and some of them are preparing for government sector jobs. So yes in future the alumni network might be very useful for this college.

Admission

I got admission here through acpc gujarat. Which will give the college to you according to your merit. This acpc seats are 50% reserved in this college and remaining 50% are for JEE and MQ and NRI quota students.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of this college is very good. All the facilities have done their PhD degree from various NITs and IITs. The teaching skills of the faculties are very good. The couse understanding and knowledge is very good to every faculty. Every faculty is assigned a particular subject in which he/she is good.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
