Remarks

Good college. Exams, classes are conducted regularly. The results also published in time.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

4 years with 8 semesters. The odd semester starts in July and ends in November with the semester exam. There will be sem breaks in between odd and even semesters. Even semester will end in April. Industrial visits are organised by the college itself and funding also provided by the college for 1 day IV. Internships are compulsory for students as per the syllabus. The college itself provides a stipend for an internship. The syllabus is relevant and teachers help to provide workshops on new technologies.

Placement Experience

3

Cisco, cadence, cypress, tcs, Infosys, IBM, L&T, IQVIA, Altran etc are the companies visited the campus. The main steps are aptitude and the technic test will be conducted first. Then there will group discussion and after that, there will technical and HR interview. About 65 percent of students are placed in every year. The institution conducts placement regarding classes of 7 days before the starting of 7th semester.

College Events

4

Techfest named dhishna will be conducted every year6by third year students of BTech. Many students come to the campus to attend Dhishna. It a program of 3 days. Cultural fest such as arts fest named vipanchika conducted by students of the school of engineering and there will be university arts fest called swargam. And also there will celebrations such as Onam, christmas, neon parties etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is mainly 3 types. For state merit students, 25000 will be the sem fee for every semester For all India merit students, it will be 50000 for each semester For foreign students, it is about 1 lakh There is no additional fees to secure an admission to course

Fees and Financial Aid

E grants are provided by the government. Rs 13500 is provided in every year. There will other scholarships such as student aid fund, MoMA, etc. There will be fees concession for minority caste students.

Campus Life

4.5

There are political parties and college elections. Very nice campus. All other courses such as LLB, MBA, physics, maths, chemistry photonic, marine engineering etc. So there are many cultural programs conducted by other courses. University sports competitions are there and university arts also. Workshops are conducted in every week.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is weak. Alumni students are working in good companies. Some of them are helpful for placements.

Admission

I got good marks in the cusat entrance test. I think cusat is better when compared to ktu. That's why I opted for cusat. Electronics engineer is my ambition. In the entrance examination, I got a rank of 22. So easily I got admission in the desired branch from the allotment. If you want to change the branch, there will be counsellings conducted by University as a part of the admissions process.

Faculty

3.5

Most permanent faculties are doctorates. There will contract faculties. Their qualification will be MTech. HOD, professors and assistant professors are doctorates. So they can help you to clarify the doubts and give assignments etc. They provide efficient lectures and they will complete the syllabus before exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
