The course curriculum is divided into two parts that is course outcomes and program outcomes which makes students job-ready. There are many industrial visits provided to students. College tries it's level best for placing it's every student in an industry.

The college follows the skype based interview procedure for placements. The institute provides every opportunity to a student to get placed

College Events

There are many events in the college. The college event that is Sammilan which is Jammu and Kashmir's biggest techno-cultural event is held every year in March. Apart from this, many internal hackathons and cultural competitions take place inside the campus

A good college with all the requirements that a student needs during the 4-year program. any workshops, competitions are provided by the college to the students. To sum up , it is a good place to pursue engineering in Jammu. The Computer Science Engineering branch of this college is the best in Jammu.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of this college are all around the globe but still, they mentor students via Skype and personal interactions.

Admission

The college provides a good hands-on experience for computer Science and Technology. This was the main reason for me to opt for this course. Good curriculum and good learning environment are some of the factors that made me choose this college for pursuing my engineering

Faculty

The course has around 6 lectures per day for 1-3 years and 4 lectures per day for 4 th year. Teachers try their level best to clear the doubts of students. All lecturers hold industry experience and certifications. The college provides everything that a student needs during his engineering

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction
