About college

There are both positive and negative remarks for our college like if we include positive remarks there is good discipline and there are events conducted by college like NSS and NCC for servicing. Negatives include food won't be that good.

Yeah, it was good. In a year we will have two sems. In each sem we will have 3 cumulative internal assessments(CIA) each subject of 50 marks. Out of 3 cia's they will consider 2 cia's marks and make it to 20 from each subject from each cia. Overall it will become 40 marks out of 50 for each subject and remaining 10 marks is for assignments. And final end semester examination for each subject is of 100 marks and they will make it to 50 and consider 50 marks from end semester examination and 50 marks from cia's and overall it becomes 100.In this way it goes.

Yeah, this year our college had a great placements. Upto what i know most of the students upto 70 percent of the students were placed this year. Different companies came forward to provide internships and job opportunities based on the student capability.

There are so many events conducted by our college like Daksh, kuruksastra, utsav, carpedium, ecell, colloseum, ictaas, scanit, sankalp, hinges.The events include technical fests, cultural fests,motivational speeches, etc. But colloseum is an sports fest where so many colleges come to our college and participate in an competition including our college students representing each college. ICTAAS is an event representing ICT branch. SCANIT represents IT branch,HINGES represent civil branch SANKALP represents electrical department.

Yeah fee structure is feasible. If we are not capable of paying fee we can take education loan at city union bank which is in college. Tution fees is 65,000 per semester, development fees is 10,000 (one time during admission) and 7000(including peesonality development, sports, unit tests, marks verification, medical test, id card etc).

There will be scholarships like national scholarships based on intermediate marks. Once you got that scholarship in first year you can again avail that scholarship for four years of btech. There are other scholarship like Dean's scholarship based on merit of the student and hostel scholarship based on merit and hostel feedback of the student.

We are having good extracurricular activities. For especially sports we are having colloseum and fura where students can participate. Labs are of good infrastructure and every student can go and can grab a seat in each eventhough he/she of differ departments.

Yeah, our seniors are very interactive to juniors and they will advise juniors if they want help either in studies or faculty selection. There is no ragging in our college. Departmental events are conducted together by all the Four year students.

At first i registered for college application by filling details with inter marks and mains marks. After that they revealed ranks and i attended counseling and selected my branch. Based on the revealed ranks we have attend the counseling on the first day or the other. I have attended first day counseling.

Yeah we are having extraordinary faculty for some subjects and good facultyfor some subjects and average faculty for some subjects. They will teach upto the level a student need to know. If we are facing faculty issues about their teaching they will provide feedback to share our opinions about faculties.
