Remarks

Good college to study. We have a peaceful environment. Lawns and gardens for meditating. Large library with a great collection of knowledge. Temple enabling spiritual ness to students. Students words cannot outreach.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has a special focus on research half of the subjects are semi lab and semi theory it will be amazing working in the lab learning the theory lessons practically. The end semester exams reflects 50% of the GPA and yadav is of internal assessments and lab practicals.

Placement Experience

Rishi University also good record of of placements and job opportunities various internships are also encouraged in and out of University famous companies like Microsoft TCS Infosys give internships and provide stipend to students studying here

College Events

This university also celebrate various technical,cultural,management festivals. Technical fest is named daksh is celebrated for 3 to 4 days with new ideas the technology from various techies around the nation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible disc about equal to the government college fees running in the country. Any middle class student can access this college and pursue their graduation without any financial debt. Management also provides with various scholarships.

City Union Bank is associated with shastra it provides student loans with low interest. Apart from the student loans the management also provides when is scholarships of worth crores. This helps students to study well pursue higher studies.

there are equal number of boys and girls in the college. About 20-25 clubs exist in the college in various disciplines of cultural ,technical, literature ,arts and science. Race clubs active round the year and celebrate various occasions.

Hostel Facilities

University contains various blocks of different catalogue of rooms it have sharing rooms individual rooms with attached bathrooms and sharing bathrooms. Hostels are hygiene. Hostel fees is also feasible.

Alumni/Alumna

They guide us a lot. Notable alumni exists. Many settled in big famous companies with high packages. University is totally into research field. Provides with large equipment and vast labs for experimenting new things.

Admission

Sastra is one of the deemed university in tamilnadu it purely take students on the basis of merit. There are two types of streams in the counselling one is through JEE mains and 12th percentage and the other is only based on 12th percentage. Tamil Nadu people have special quota and the trichy thanjavur natives have additional 10% special quota.

Faculty

The faculty of the college are well dignified and each one of them posses at least Masters in their subject main yaar also involved in research and development special block is brought up only for research faculty help students to dig more about their interests

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for.
