Overall it's a great College. The campus is neat and clean and safe around to roam. The people are highly interactive and there are many students from other countries as well for exchange programs so it makes the ambiance great.

The course curriculum is great. The course focuses the first year on basics that every stream should cover and then as you move in the following semester the course changes to core subjects. Then it mostly focuses on the research work and projects. The labs are well made with 24-hour internet facility.

The placements are the best thing about Chandigarh university. Approximately about 300 companies visit the university every year with the highest package being offered is 32 lakhs. In the cse department, the placements are good and the highest being 18 LPA offered by google for this year. Other companies include amazon, neutanix, Wipro, and many more.

The events celebrated in the College include CU fest sports day various technology-based events and also events that are business-oriented events like effectus. There are various students who have their own startups too.

The fee structure is feasible and is an-okay amount that can be paid. The fees for specialized courses in cse are 90000 per semester and the normal cse is 60000 per semester. Various other streams have a different fee structure whereas you can also get a concession if there is an absolute necessity.

Scholarships are provided for students who perform exceptionally well in the cucat and can avail of a scholarship accordingly on the amount of the total fees. The sc/st students have a lot of fee concessions which makes their education easier.

Regular workshops are conducted in the College, events like Tashan nites concerts are held regularly where everybody can go free of cost and a lot of celebrities come there and everybody enjoys and have a great time.

Currently, a day scholar we have transport facilities offered by the university at a nominal rate and the hostel has rooms on sharing basis of 4 students the hostel rooms are neat and clean and the mess food is decent.

College seniors are really helpful they guide you very well. Even the class mentors are great and we have a regular mentoring session for guiding us throughout. If you are working on a project they take care of your needs and help you.

The admission was on a meet and greet basis. The other option for admission was the entrance test in which if you score a certain grade then you get a scholarship according to the course. the course of cse offered great subjects and was my area of interest. The placements in the cse background are also quite good.

The faculty is experts in their own field. each trainer is from a specific field and that course which are IBM offered have special IBM trainers to teach the subject. Whereas other steams also have great faculty. The computer science teachers are very helpful and give great project ideas that are helpful in practical use too.
