Remarks

Students who are having good percentage should not take admission to such colleges.Regular lectures are not done here.Practicals were lessly conducted.Infracture is not that good.Washroom are like public toilets stingy and smelly.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum was not that good at all over here.Mostly 2-3 lectures was taken in a day.And coming to the practicals no practical were conducted. It was an hectic to reach college as it was 5kms away from Badlapur railway station. There was no any medium to return from college except state transport bus whose frequency was 1-2 bus from 8.30am to 5.00pm.As the bus frequency was less students used to hang out from bus as it was full packed. But the good point about the college is that the Unit test and Semester exam were conducted on time and in a strict manner. No any cheatings were allowed.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college was Having a separate Training and Placement Cell for students. Most of the Computer Engineering students got enrolled through this cell with less package as they were fresher. But not a single Student from Mechanical engineering and Extc got recruited in the year 2017.

College Events

1.5

The crowd over here is more active. Students used to host a annual function so called Swarajya. In month of Feb many days were celebrated such as mismatch day, rose day etc.Techno event was one of my favourite event- robo racing, robo fight, ic engine operated small car were there.During Navratri the whole crowd were used to wear the same coloured clothings.Sports days was also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees was not that high as compared to other navi mumbai colleges. They were charging a sum of rupees 92000/year.In that it includes bus fess (Rs.15000). Tuition fees was about Rs49815, Development fees was rs5185 etc other fess were included.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per Government rule Annual income less than 8 Lakhs were claiming freeship(Scholarship) and the people who were having less than 1.5 lakh annual income were claiming EBC.As my income was less than 8L i used to get the benefits of freeship in that i used to get a sum as of Rs30000 back to my Registered Account.

Campus Life

2

Labs were in good conditions.Chemistry lab was there.Having a huge Workshop which was equipped with 20 lathes machines 1horizontal milling machine,2 welding mc, 1 vertical drilling machine 7 bechwise for carpentry workshop.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No Hostel facilities were available from college. These was the major drawback.Students from Nashik, pune chunnabatti etc areas were coming to the college.Students used to stay in Sharing room and used to pay a sum of Rs 3000/month.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is still strong. As the crowd over here was to caring and lovable. The seniors were very supportive and encouraging. They used to help us in academics too.No bullying was done from seniors.

Admission

Basically i had taken direct 2nd year admission to this college as i had completed my Diploma in Mechanical engineering. I had taken admission over here through Online CAP round system. Most of the crowd over here are through Cap round as the total vacant seats are much higher than any other colleges. And one of the major point is that it comes under Mumbai University.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty over here were co-operative.As per government rule only M.e staff were there for teaching. The library was also good with full knowledgeable books for the reader.Nearly 5-6k books were kept inthe library as per College's draft.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
