Remarks

Overall college is best in everyday one thing student will never get to knoe it's value till he is in that college but one thing it is ecomocally feasible and every facilities they have no one else placements projects, facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Coure circuluam we can say is someway outdated and they take exams regularly, kind of head ache it is, ecams in every 15-20 days, it's good for one who want to study good but it's hecomes headache at one time.

College Events

There are different department and every department have different fests and college to have DSW department, under which different fests occur regularly.Different tech, non tech and cultural fests are the pride of college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is really feaseble and all the fees paid is normal and not mite as compared to near by cooleges.Fees for btech is 43000 per sem and then just exam fees to be paid online that is 700 per sem and then for annual festival that is 500.

No I don't know much about the scholarship but many student dwith SC, ST or obc quato avail govt scholarships and all the scholarship ate available in college that are oromoted by Punjab govt.I don't

All the labes are well equiped, all the materials are working properly.Lab attendants are not too have much knowledge hut overall it is good.One can learn different things and can work on different projects of his/her choice

College has a excellent alumi record and every year they have a alumni meet in which great event is there and they maintain record and it is always a easrue yi meet pass out students and to talk to them and get there experiences.

Admission

I want to take admission in btech and I was not able to crack IIT entrance test, and also don't want to leave the city as want to live with my mother, so this is the best and nearby college I took admission

Faculty

All the faculty members are not good.Some are really really good but some are just chipku type.They want their work to be done by students but overall all are good.Different types of events are there in which whole faculty participate actively.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
