Remarks

Many good and bad remarks are there for the college like food in the hostel, shortage of labs in the college, less no. Of fests in the college, and many other good remarks are there too, like facilties, teaching ways, infrastructure etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Robotics And Automation is a new course which is trending all over India, So by graduating from my UG subjects, I think this make a grant way for my dream towards to career and many job opportunities are there.

Placement Experience

Yes, my college provide internship and many campus interview are provided by the collegw authorities and have toe up with so many MNC companies. Federal bank, TCS, Sutherland,Infosys aew the main recruiters if our college. Faculties are more helpfull by providing courage to attend interview easily.

College Events

Nothing has celebrated yet, maybe will be in future. Advay 2020 is happening my college which is a grant feet for our college, in which all students can participate,DJ,arts categories, everything can be performed. Advay is celebrated every year in my college since with my knowledge, I heard about like that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies from quotas, For government/merrit quota it 35000to45000 an for management quota 75000to95000 and for NRI QUOTA from 2 lakh to 3 lakhs accurately. Fee structure is still high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship like quotas which are mentioned above,other than that nothing is provided, I think books are provided free for the KTU rank holders. I dont know about this properly, I think quotas will assure students fees.

Campus Life

Labs are highly sophiscated labs, every kab staffs are very polite and helpful. Labs are very intresting category in engineering. Sports day is good and there will be high competence with subordinates.

Hostel Facilities

No, Im a dayscholar. If I say about hostlers, food is little bad and hostel rooms are all very good but space is indefinite for 3 to 2 people for a room and ragging free hostels are provided. Hostelers have good time for being there for 4 years.

External Expense: Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are little hard to handle with for the first years. So many money problems are there here in this college. Alumini meet are provided by the institution to maintain good relation with seniors.

Admission

I heard a new course is going trend in India, that is robotics and automatiin engineering, So I thought this will give me a good career, and hence this couse is provided by one other college other than my college, so I cracked KEAM2019 and got admission in my college.

Faculty

Faculties are all very hard-working and teaches students in a tactical, technical way in which each and all students in the room will understand what is thought, every topics were introduced to us through smartclasses, in which it ia easy to catch up with lower amount of time.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

I choose btech cse cause it was the trending course at that time and I was computer science student in my high school so it was best for me to choose btech cse at that time. And I believe it cold be a great career choice

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Likes

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Programs and activities are good and the support

Exams are conducted without a gap in between
There are a lot of assignment often for the students

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Remarks:

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

I did not choose this college. I just got enrolled here due to parents compelling.i had applied to some other colleges too. The process for admission is that you need to submit your mark lists and related documents along with a hefty admission fee. Then your seat is secured. Comparing to other collages the main reason I opted this college isnthe fees. And on that rage of fees it is offering decent placements. I also attended the GD and PI of TKM but the fees there is very high compared to our college. The admission procedure in our college includes registation, and a personal interview. TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Admission process was fine overall , They either needed a good KEAM rank, or JEE percentile works fine too. Since i had a decent JEE percentile rank i went for that option. JEE is of course pretty tough compared to keam but it can be managed. KEAM is out of 900 where 400 above is considered good Form can be found in their respective sites...Read More
