VIT University(Amarawati) review

The college is good but it is under construction so people should not compare other fully developed colleges with our college before joining. Our college has all the facilities available which are needed for a student.

The college curriculum is set in a way that all the fields will be covered by the student before his graduation and will be in a position to get placements in any field he is interested in. Exam pattern is like we will have 3 exam and the cumulative of all the marks plus assignments will be considered to give the grade to students.

2020 will be the first year our college will get placements because our college is a new branch started by vellore Institute of technology in the year 2016.But according to the news in our college all the companies comming to vit vellore will come to vit amarawati also.

In our college there are two events conducted every year in which one is the sports and cultural event called vitopia and the other is the technical event known as vtapp. In both these events various competition are held and huge prizes are given to the students.

The fee structure actually depends on the student wheather he or she falls in which category. There are 5 categories in which the fee ranges from 2 lakh tution fee plus hostel and mess to 5 lakh tution fee plus hostel and mess.

Our college provides full scholarship to the students who have topped in various districts. They are also given with laptops for their college purpose. But for the other students there is no consession given. The student has to pay the fees according to his or her category.

Our college gives equal importance to extracurricular activities there are many competition and events conducted every week in which students can take part and win exciting prizes. Whereas Lab facilities are extremely good.

The facilities in the hostel are very good if we don't compare them to vit vellore because our campus is under construction so slowly slowly the infrastructure is been developed and the facilities also.

Seniors are really helpful when it comes to academics but as our college has no experience with the placements the Junior students are bit tensed about the companies that will come for recruitment. There is no ragging by seniors in our college.

At first we have to give VITEEE entrance exam. Then according to the score rank list will be generated then as per the rank we will get the counseling details then we can go for the counseling and select the seat we want and branch of study.

The faculty in our college are very talented and experienced in their field of teaching. They are very good with students that is they are very supporting and they fell responsible for the student. If the students behave good with them then the students can have a very good college life.
