I will mention one thing if anyone wants to take admission please take it in CS,IT,EC,EX branches because in mechanical and civil you will be struggling to get the job at the end. apart from that it is way better than other private colleges present here in bhopal. amd yes one big thing, you will not be allowed to leave college before time you have to wait for the end of the day even if you came for 5 minutes work.
Course curriculum is very average because of the university from which it is affiliated that is Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, they keep changing course structure almost every year. when i took admission there was credit based system and in second year it was changed to grading system which was very disturbing for students. Exams that was College level was very chilled because that was just a formality and labs was also the same, they are present just to say that we teach practical knowledge but in labs every student is chilled out.
Placement and job opportunities are decent but only for IT & CS students. very few companies come for Mechanical and civil students and the companies that come are only for sales and marketing jobs or business development executive. stipend was ranging from 2.4 lpa to 12.4 lpa minimum and maximum respectively. our college does not provide and type of internships.
There are several events happens here almost every month but only on regional level and very rarely on national level. technical events are very few because there are no machinery or working equipments for that. Cultural events are like tech fest which is held every year and during that whole college seems like a festival is going on for three days and there is huge participation of students but only for attendance so that they can give the receipt of the event and take attendance.
fee structure is expensive because we have to pay 100000 only for tution fee every year and apart from that we have to pay 14000 bus fee no matter if you are using bus service or not. and apart from these we have to pay exam forms fee every semester and there are huge fines on students for low attendance or late coming.
i have not availed any scholarship programs because i was not eligible for that because i am in general category but for minorities and bpl students there are several scholarship programs which gives upto 50 % discount on fees. loans facilities are not there from college.
gender ratio is like 70:30 where 70 percent are boys and 30 percent are girls. there are very few extracurricular activities including different sports events like football, cricket tournaments. there are no dorm parties. workshop are held but only 2 or 3 times in a year in which they take us to some industrial visits.there are cultural societies but only for the formalities. but yeah there is equality and ethnicity in our college on the basis of race religion or gender. sexual orientation is good because almost every girl is having their boyfriends in college.there is huge politics in every field like placements or attendance or proxy or any fee discount everywhere is politics. and there are very wealthy students as well as very average students present in our college.
I have lived in college hostel in only first year because there a miserable conditions of hostels. rooms are sharing types in which there are options for 2 or 3 and the facilities are worst here and there are huge fines for every small mistake. even if you come 1 day late from home there is huge fine for that.after that i lived in PGs for rest of the engineering and rents are quite feasible depending upon the area in which you live where average rents are 2000 to 3000 per month.
for me all the seniors knows me because of my elder brother who was also in mechanical branch so there was no problem in that field. they were very helpful for normal juniors too. there is nothing like raging and all. they give really important advice for maintaining attendance or scoring good in semester exams.
My elder brother was a student of this college so he insisted me to take admission in this college because there were no better options in bhopal for private engineering at this fee.So from my brother's consent i took admission and did not attend any entrance exam or interview, i took direct admission. i had gone there and said i want admission Mechanical branch and they said yes and started the process. it was this simple.
Faculties are very knowledgeable and qualified but they take everything as a formality and see the watch in every 5 minutes during lectures which shows that they come just for time pass. and they teach from the books or notes.there are very few teachers which are genuinely interested in teaching and want us to get the concept very clearly.
There are plenty of opportunities provided when you are in the placement phase. Students are able to participate in placements when they are in 7 th semester. The top recruiters are : Wipro Infosys Cognizant TCS Capgemini and a lot more. The highest package offered was 9.6LPA during the pandemic which is quite decent. Generally, 95% of students are placed. This figure increases but never goes down. That's what LNCT is famous for. I myself am preparing for the opportunities to grab the best one and to kick start my career with a very good job.
The placement of our college is not good enough it is average for the mechanical branch. Students of the 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. For the mechanical branch there visited Tata Steel Company which offer jobs to many students and many other companies also visited there. The highest package of our college is approx 10 LPA and average package is 2.5 LPA from many companies in our college and approx 50% students get placements in various companies. My plan after my undergraduate degree to join government services.
The placement of this college is very good. companies like google, amazon, Infosys, etc are coming. The highest placement gone was gone 15-16 lakh/annum and the average went to 5-6 lakh per anum. so the college is good in placement wise also.
We have got some best design labs and everything in order perform research for PHD. Living places are clean and maintainance is too good. Food is hygienic but not tasty but there are lot of restaurants to provide for.
There were 100% placements. And those students were from various depts including cs, ec and mech and even agriculture. Average packages were above 50 lakhs for ec and around 50 for cs and mnc. Were are asked to pay around 2.2 lakes per year. And it, acc. to me, is very reasonable for one of top engineering college, as it is very less when compared to the education and facilities provided to us.
IES is one of the most reputed University in India. I believe that it has a great faculty and also has a beautiful campus. The college life is quite enjoyable as it has a blend of both informative lectures and the exciting college events. I personally have had some of the most treasured moments of my life at IES
Placement is pretty nice, I have not yet sit in any placement but according to the seniors and last record from the online sources it pretty good, highest salary offered is some how around 19 lack for inside india. And average salary is around 3.2 lackh
There are some good and bad things with every thing, nothing is perfect, every has came to get a job ultimately but not everyone gets it, so as to provide job opportunities, college works on bringing companies to the campus. There are things such as faculty is young,
