Remarks

Good remarks: No reservation based on caste while admission. Labs and libraries are great though the college could improve on areas such as sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mostly covers the basics thoroughly, monthly exams are being held. Practicals and theory go hand to hand, with a good mix of both were it industry-specific. Industrial visits for B.Tech EEE was not present for my batch, only labs

Placement Experience

4

About 59 Companies had taken students from EEE, they include TVS, TCS, Infosys, CTS, Wipro, Blue Star, Deloitte, ZS Associates, Tiger Analytics etc. General Procedure: Aptitude rounds, Coding rounds(most companies), Case study rounds(a few companies), Technical interview, HR interview. Placement percentage: Around 90-95% will be placed. Yes, there were placement training programs that were kept on from 3rd year. I am doing an internship with ZS Associates.

College Events

4

Technical festival: Daksh, this is where students participate using their tech skills and fight with many other colleges across Tamil Nadu. They also conduct many workshops during this period of time, this typically takes place for 3 days during the weekends. Cultural festivals: Kuruksastra, here students participate in various extracurricular activities from dance to music. There is also a sports meet with other South Indian colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Program fee: Rs.60,000 (average per semester). Mode of payment: Online through CUB bank. Additional fee for admission is one time deposit fee of Rs.10,000 and counselling fee of Rs.10,000. The fee break-down is quite proper and transparent. The other fee we may have to pay will include hostel fee(Rs.10 to 20k) and exam fee and other fees (Rs.5k approx.)

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are a few scholarships available, they are dependent on the marks we score, the top 2% scorers get up to Rs.22,000 per year and top 10% of students get up to Rs.11,000. There are other scholarships for hostel students with good grades and attendance top 400 students would get Rs.16,000 per year.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio: 10:7(Boys: Girls) (approx.). Parties: They are limited but students are free to have their own without troubling. Workshops : They are being conducted throughout the year, some are free some are paid. Cultural societies: There are Tamil, Telugu and Hindi clubs. There is no gender, race or religious discrimination as per my knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms: There are shared rooms from 6 in 1 to 1 in 1 single room, they depend on what we opt for and fee changes accordingly. WiFi facility is available throughout the area with average speed. Toilets and bathrooms are almost well maintained throughout the day. Food: Only vegetarian food would be present. Mostly South Indian menu with Chapathi/Roti as standard.

Alumni/Alumna

Not sure about how strong the Alumni network works, I guess it's good depending upon the departments.

Admission

Reason to choose course liked to pursue in Electric vehicles. Factors to choose the college: No reservation based on caste, high-quality staffs, good placement records, the good culture inside the campus. Steps to get admission are applied initial counselling form, Call letter based on 12th marks and JEE scores, 70% weight-age for 12th scores, JEE had 30%, Took B.Tech EEE.

Faculty

3.5

Clarity on the subject most professors knew what they taught and had covered almost all the basics. The lecturers had regularly gone on to do many certification courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming.
