Remarks

To sum it up the college is quite good in terms of academic as well as non-academic terms.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is quite good and up to the mark. It is a bit outdated but every engineering college goes through the same. The exams are also conducted in a very sophisticated manner and test us inappropriate ways. Even some courses are held which in direct link with the industry.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Various big and small companies visited the college for placements with attractive offers. The placements were carried out by the placement department.

College Events

4.5

Many events take place in the year. Various nontechnical and techincal, as well as sports events, are held every year. Some events are also inter-college where we get a chance to interact with students from different symbiosis institutes. These events provide a fun campus life.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit expensive. The labs are outdated and very few equipment are accoeding to the new standards. The mode of payment offered is neft online transaction etc. The college provides partial transparency in fee structure breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offered many scholarships from various courses. Scholarships availed were from the government as well as private sources.

Campus Life

Campus life in the symbiosis institute of technology is very good. They are providing the students a lot of facilities. Facilities are provided in education as well as outside education are provided bt the college. The campus location is very good and is very cheerful to be in

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni are helpful as many are in the business sector they come to interact with students to make them aware of what lies ahead.

Admission

It was always my aim to get a engineering degree. I am very passionate about mechanical branch. I selected this brach as it involves almost everything around us and i wnat to be a part in the society where i improve these things to get the maximum out of them.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is very friendly and up to the mark. They clear all the doubts in a very effective way. Many of the lectures are from industry hence can imply great practical skills on us. Even the classes held are very informative and are flexible accordingly

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

I have a lot of colleges as COEP, PSIT and even IIIT Pune from where I had confirm admission from. I took a lot of thinking as I even cleared SAT and fom my CET score too, I was qualified for SIT. So, one way or the other one can take admission here by any means. Try for CET though as majority of seats here are alloted through CET scores....Read More

SIT Pune - An Overview.

I chose this college because I have lived in Pune before and it's better than other private colleges. Better how 1. The fees. 2. The facilities provided. Other colleges don't come close. 3. The hostels are also better equipped, water tanks get cleaned weekly, although there is the issue of no network inside hostel and the Wi-Fi they give is HORRIBLE. I didn't go to other colleges because 1. Merit. 2. Bad cities like ghaziabad. 3. Worse packages. Admission was fairly simple here, you'll get an email if you got in, open the link there, finalise your admission, pay the fees and it's done. I got admission in SRM ghaziabad , CS , but ghaziabad is a bad city, all full of gundas and such. Seat in CS in JECRC jaipur, didn't go there because SIT gives better packages. Got 3 more colleges like VIT (electrical), and some local colleges but they were not in main college branch. Got rejected from AIT for low jee mains rank. That's the only college I didn't get in Admission in my college is simple, either by jee mains score , mhcet score or through SITEEE (sit's own exam). For all three, 85%ile and above are electrical, CS, aiml, and RnA. Students prefer jee, but I feel mhcet was much easier. Overall experience, 6/10 (not 8 because the admission incharge is an asshole)...Read More
