Remarks
Overall according to me it's a good college with all the facilities available.
Course Curriculum Overview
Symbiosis basically follows a continuous assessment process for the evaluation of internal components and end semester exams at the end of each semester for external evaluation. Labs have their separate evaluation. The curriculum of the college is good.
Placement Experience
The college has a very good placement record. Most of the students get placed. Some reputed companies which have come to the campus are holtec, bombardier etc.
College Events
There are multiple events held in college but major ones are reverb ie our cultural fest and the other is tech-fest, each branch organizes it's own techfest both of these are organised by the students and are executed very nicely. In cultural fest, we get to see some amazing artists too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total academic fees per annum are Rs 270000 right now which increases every year. Fees have to paid in two instalments ie Rs 135000 per semester. After the payment of these fees one need not pay any other fees for academics. There is a need not to pay any additional fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I have not opted for any kind of education loan nor I am having any kind of scholarship. The college offers scholarship to students which are the highest scores of the semester.
Campus Life
Campus Life at a sitting is good. One has access to each and every facility available not only in the sit campus but in the whole siu. All types of sports are played within the campus irrespective of the indoor and outdoor sports. One can find in the campus from all parts of the country.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors at this college are very helpful. Mostly ragging is not done. There is sometimes a brief intro taken by seniors.
Admission
I got into Symbiosis institute of technology through JEE mains. I opted for Electronics and telecommunication because I had a lot of interest in electronics. I had also visited to many other private colleges like SRM and VIT but I didn't found them as worth as symbiosis. Yes, it's not as old as other private colleges but it is much better than then them.
Faculty
The number of lectures held approximately in a day is seven which also include lab sessions and tutorials. College held from Monday to Friday and usually, there is no college on Saturday generally. Facilities here are well qualified and experienced. The average age of faculty is 40-45 years.
