The course curriculum of the MBA program was segmented into 2 years and further, it was divided into 4 semesters, 2 semesters a year. Thus in my 1st and 2nd year, I learned about marketing, Economics for Business Manager and statistical for management. Eventually, in my 3rd semester, I opted for human resource management as my specialization and in the 4th semester, I worked on a dissertation report on marketing management.
The college promotes a good number of events in order to make all of us well aware of the ongoing innovations in our specialization as well as in the B-world. I remember I attended one session on Business Leadership Forum. Apart from that, the annual day features some of the finest cultural performances. Sports day meet, ethnic day, women's day were some of the main activities in the college.
For the first year, I paid 3.2 lakhs which included my tuition fee, examination fee, registration fee, a refundable caution fee, etc. For the second year, I paid around 3.6 lakhs. So in total, this course cost me around 6.8 lakhs which was expensive for me and it drained the entire savings of my parents.
Here the culture of being diverse in both academics and non-academics parameters helped the students to know their potentiality as well as capability. Our institute has close tie-ups with many international universities and different student exchange and study abroad programs are organized quite frequently in order to provide diverse exposure to the students.
While studying for B. Tech, my main agenda was to pursue management. Hence, I attempted the MAT exam and fortunately scored 650. Thus, after seeing the cut off I learned that I was eligible for pursuing MBA+PGPM from Amity. Therefore I got admissions in this college after filling up the admission form available on the internet only at Rs 1000/-.
Our professors were very supportive and approachable. Their strategy of teaching and giving us a brief about the subject concern was awesome. I could easily understand each topic discussed by them. Apart from that, the department also invites guest faculty to give us more knowledge regarding the specialized subject. The mandatory and easy part of the college curriculum was an internship. As we all were given the opportunity to work while study especially during our summer breaks. This way we were able to understand our potential and strength.
Students become eligible for placement from Term V. Many companies start offering job roles from the start of Term V at the institute. The average placement at IIM Kashipur is around 14 LPA and the highest placement is around 25-26 LPA. The top recruiters are from Sales & Marketing, Finance & Banking, Consulting & Analytics, and Operations. Some of the prominent recruiters at IIM Trichy are - Amazon, JP Morgan, Cognizant, KPMG, ICICI, Vivo, McKinsey, Godrej, Dabur, HDFC, Birla Estates, Tata Power.
The Institute invites major corporate companies to provide placement opportunities to the students. Our batch observed the highest placement offer of INR 35.16 LPA and an average package of INR 20.48 Lakhs. Most of the recruiters were from Engineering background. Fidelity, Infosys, Bosch, Accenture, Tech Mahindra and many more participated in the final placement drive.
IIM-Trichy has recorded the highest record of placement this year. A total of 186 offers were made during the campus placement and 119 companies visited the campus. Almost 173 students were placed under the sales & marketing, finance, operations, consulting & analytics domains. The highest package stood at INR 25 LPA, the average package offered was INR 14.96 LPA. The major recruiters were ICICI Pru, ICICI, Ultratech, MU Sigma, Analytics quotient, HP, and various others.
RSB offers an average CTC of 7 lakhs. More than 20 companies visit campus placement every year. Till now 100% placement has been recorded. Many students quit their job to come here and take up PGDM to get a higher salary package.

This year, most of the students were placed in the Sales & Marketing Sector. Overall the placements at IIM-Trichy is awesome.
Everything is good except the college changes their teachers staff quite frequently which should be avoided.
Our University is practically the best place to pursue a post graduate program at a budget friendly cost. Academics and campus life is fantastic here. We had some of the best moments here. Infrastructure is great and facilities like digital library, audio-visual enabled auditorium, playground, etc.
During admission they told every student will take for a foreign industrial visit. But only 10 students are taken those students are very close to management. I completed my course by 2014 but still I haven't invited for convocation, it is almost 15 months are got over.
