Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure is relevant and modernised and marking goes hand in hand with the international scheme. Here, you get credits for each subject in your academics which help you to further carry out your learning abroad. Practicals were the best part of my learning. Yes, also the curriculum was groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge, that helps in securing on-campus placements.
Placement Experience
Chandigarh University is best known for placements. Yes, in addition to this, they support students for short and long duration internships after every semester ends. I personally availed internships at government organisations like AIR INDIA and DRDL. As for my course, the companies that visited campus for placement.
College Events
Chandigarh University also encourages students for co-curricular activities. Many of the events are been celebrated here. They have their own CU-Fest every year. Many departmental events are conducted in order to boost up the students for participation as well as coordination.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My program fees were 75000. It's a bit expensive but yes, they do let you write the CU-SET (Chandigarh University Student Eligibility Test) which helps you get the scholarship. There are many modes of payment nowadays and CU walks hand in hand with the modernisation allowing students to pay through online modes and every possibly available mode.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally did not have any scholarship and education loan. But yes, CU allows opting for scholarship and educational loans. You should meet the eligibility criteria for the same.
Campus Life
Chandigarh University encourages zero tolerance for gender ratio. Moreover, it encourages every culture, religion, ethnicity and race to celebrate their own festivals and indulges with them too. It follows the law of equality for every individual that states everybody is equal in the eyes of law and God.
Alumni/Alumna
Chandigarh University organises alumni meet every year, where seniors share their experience with the juniors. It helps the juniors to improve themselves better than the seniors in outshine in their respective dreams.
Admission
I wanted to have a career in aviation. I searched for various colleges and Universities for Aerospace Engineering. Chandigarh University was my first search and a never regretting choice. I contacted directly by approaching the nearby official branch for admission in this university. I chose this institution for they had the best placement record.
Faculty
Faculty here is highly qualified and personally experienced in different fields respectively. There are around 30-35 lectures in a week. Faculty never fails in providing clarity about the subject, to the students. Lectures do not hold relevant industry experience. It is practical which does so.
