Remarks

This university is not for those who just want to enjoy tge College life because they put a lot of pressure on students mentally. They even have classes on holidays and vacations because they want that their most of the students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Couse structure is quite good. Regular changes are made to the syllabus so that students get full knowledge of the technology. Examination patterns are also good. Tgey test the whole knowledge of tge students and if yiu study hard the exams are easy to Crack

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements os my College are quite good. Last year mkre then 2000+ offers letters were received by our students. Also university provides training inside the campus but don't give any stipend or certification of that particular training.

College Events

3.5

Teach fest Youth fest CU fest Also university organises dj nights once or twice in a semester but they do not have proper management. They just calll the students forcefully in the name of attendance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is moderate. That is its not too high or low. Also tge university provides scholarships on the basis of the academics and sports. My course costs 80000 per semester and hostel fee is 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not know about loans but yes university provides the facility of scholarships. If your 12 class marks are above 90% then you will get 50% scholarship and if your marks are above 80% then 20% scholarship. But if your CGPA goes below 7.5 or you fail in any of the subjects then your scholarship will be removed

Campus Life

4.5

Workshops are organized on regular basis. Sports are also good in my university. Gender ratio is quite unbalanced. Girls have less availability of resources as compared to boys. Overall extracurricular activities are good.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are not that good. 4 people share one common room. Some of the rooms do not have a balcony and a lot of students are staying in hostels which results in a rush at the mess. Also rules are quite strict and behavior of guards is not also acceptable towards the students

Alumni/Alumna

We get only one chance to interact wuth seniors who got placed in a semester that we call as interactive session with seniors. But its not that much interactive as students are forced to attend that session and ask questions

Admission

Placements of Chandigarh University are good in the field of Computer science engineering. So I chose this course and university over the other options. And also interview is quite easy just common questions about daily life and thats all.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty is awesome. They have full knowledge of what they are teaching and also they have masters degree in their subject. But, sometimes a single faculty is teaching more than one subject that affect his/her ability to teach

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
