Remarks

Good University to get graduated from. Very positive environment both academic and non-academic wise. Placements oppurtunities are high in range for every student in our university. No proper food items are provided in hostels. Difficult to adjust. But once you are adjusted then no problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our College timings are just like school timings. Student will have extra time to take part in extra-curricular activities even they are intrested in it. Exam structure ,which I dont like espicially ,which is not a quality one.since 3 Internals will be conducted per semester excluding practicals and university exams.

Yes. Our College provides alot of internship oppurtunities through INTERNSHALA programmee. Well efficient companies will provide placement amd job oppurtunities.I'm not aware of the entire placement process as I have not experienced it yet!

1. Daksh: It is a technical event. One of the most inspiring event. 2. Colloseum: It is a sports event. Players will come from all over tamilnadu Colleges to take part in it. 3. KURUKSASTRA: It is one of the biggest cultural event of our College. All fun events along with the cultural programmes are conducted

Fee Structure And Facilities

Per Year, Tution fee : 1,50,000 Hostel fee : 12,000-25,000(accordingly) Mess fee : 3,400- 4100(per month and based on the stay in the hostel) Sports fee : 1,000 Breakage fee : 200-800(accordingly) This is the fee structure of our College

Fees and Financial Aid

Our University also provides loan to the student through City union bank. The entire tution fee can be paid through it. Our University also provides scholarship based on student performence in each semester(merit list)

males:femals,gender ratio is about 3:2. While coming to extra curricular activities ,Our College had a seperate event fot that.It is called FURA. All indoor games and outdoor games are conducted. Gender bias, ragging, politics , racism, Religious differences are no encouraged in our University

Hostel Facilities

Yes I opted for the hostel,as it is far from my home town. Hostel rooms will be accommodated based on your interest. Every Hostel room is provided with proper ventilation. Common bathrooms are also provided in some hostels. Every student can get accommodation in hostel as there are sufficient number of rooms provided by the management

Alumni/Alumna

All Senior students are very supportive and friendly in nature. They guide junior students in a proper way. Alumni students guides us in the events happening outside the campus i.e. in other Universities. Yes. They are very helpful.

Admission

Admission process is based on both 12th grade percentage and JEE Mains marks. I have chosen my course as I am interested in doing it.So I have not considered any options while admitting in my College.

Faculty

Most of our Teachers are well trained ,professionals in their field.Every teacher cares about student in their class. Each student activity is monitored by individual mentor and proper feedback and also pushback will be given by them to us.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for.
