Remarks

non vegetarian is not allowed inside the campus that is the main drawback because students from different states are coming and staying in hostel but they are feeling uncomfortable about the food

since it's a deemed university there is a seperate set of sylabus which is very practical and useful in which some subjects are tough and electives can be choosen by students according to their wish

jobs are raining at sastra almost most of the students will get placed since over 490 companies are visiting every year.most of them are it companies.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges.
