Remarks
The environment is so satisfying and infrastructe is good negative is that there is no clearity from the management for conducting small events The mangaements only supports for only larger events The don't provide enough money to conduct events
Course Curriculum Overview
The classes are more interactive and the teachers are very good at teaching except few We are having good furnished labs and softwares that suits our curriculum BCA block in DG VAISHNAV is pretty good we had lots of seminars in the final year.
Placement Experience
The placements that is provided in DG VAISHNAV is so good the placement faculty he is too good enough and always supports the students for the placements over all there are no internship provided from the college
College Events
Cyberfest. This event is an technical event conducted by BCA deptmenet but no support is given from the management side to conduct such event v bazzar. One of my fav events in the college is vaishnav bazzar it's an bazzar where the student set up stalls and sell their products.
Fee Structure And Facilities
They collect 45000 per year for the BCA course And additional 1800 rupess for the exam fee which should be paid before each semester examination when compared which other top colleges in Chennai dg VAISHNAV is more and much feasible
Fees and Financial Aid
The managements provides scholarships for SC and St catagories people they offer about 10000 per month which is kind of usefull for those people who come from long distance like tiruvallur and other exteriors of chennai
Campus Life
The managements provide lots of extra curriculum activities they encourage sprots also but they don't provide any extra coaching for sports etc for the other department people They conduct sports day but they don't provide any od for the students
Hostel Facilities
No, I have not opened for the hostel there are no hostel facilities for the girls only for boys there is a hostel in DG VAISHNAV The food is not up to the level of satisfication But the rooms are well maintained
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors are well disciplined they provide lot of information about the college and the about their experience about their placements and other things like how to behave with the faculties and encouraging in sports etc
Admission
The admission was a easy process We did a online registration which costs 500. Then after a month I have received a message from the college for an interview. The venue was sent in the message. We had our cutoff marks to be cross checked And then they called us individually asked some questions. And finally they asked to submit the documents And fee is should be paid on the day of admission itself
Faculty
There are only few faculties in BCA department who teachers the subject clearly and more informatively Others. Nothing to say about them simply waste they never teach the subject the prepare PPT or some notes and jus read it and go. Which is not satisfied so faculties even use mobile phones all the time during the class hours.
