Remarks

All the things are positive. There are no negatives as such.the campus is lush green and it has world class auditorius for semibars and shows.The job opportunities are diverse.The child gets lots of exposure.

Well sorted and as per latest trend.The curriculum helps the child to prepare well in advsnce for the future opportunities.The syllabus is not very lengthy.All important subjects are included theory as well as practical

There are vast placements and job opportunities in thus college. Ore tgab 200 companies visit the college durung placement drives. The college offers 100% placement gaurantee to its students.Also there is placement training program.

College Events

The college not only cares about the study but aldo believes in overall developemnet of a child.There are various extra curricular activities events fests seminars cultural shows youth festivals organized throughout the college journey.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not very feasible but not exlensive either.Also there are many scholarships provided to intelligent and desrving stidents.reseved catogory stidents also pay less fee.there is fee wavier.

There are many scholarships and fee waviers offered to students. Reserved categories get free education. There are loans for students. Students good in sports and extra curricular activities get free education.

Campus Life

There are many extra curriular activities for overall development of students. Various fests cultural shows exhibitions are oranized.sometimes road shows as well.each and every department put up with their own fest.There are more than 100 labs equipped with latest technology.

I did opt for hostel.hostel life was the best experience of my life. It gave me unforgettable and pleasing memories. There are two hostels for girls and four for boys. The hostels are built according to the latest infrastructure.All the ammenities are present wifi tv washrooms good food.

There are many great alumni from this college like ranjit bawa dilpreet dhillon.seniors are very coperative and friendly.they evem help you eithnotes and books.the college has a peaceful environment.semiors support juniors inevery possible way.

Through entrance exam. My sisyer was also studying in this collegd.she also studied the same course so she suggested me to do my engineering here. I had heard alot about this college. Also my sister got placed in a good company

Faculty

Best well qualified experienced trained teachers.All teachers are coperative and supportive.Positive thinkers and helping in nature. Every teacher is an expert in his or her field. Well deserving teachers

I particularly liked my minor degree in Electronics and Communication engineer which is cover more on the modern Computer hardware concepts . Suggestion as overall faculty can introduce one course each semester as elective which student can learn apart from that branch.

The campus has good learning environment , helpful faculty , and facilities for academic and extracurricular activities

Dislikes

the fees are quite high , and more practical , industry exposure and intership oppertunities would improve the overall experirnce

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh university provides placemnet oppertunities with studnets becoming eligible in later semester . cse studnets can apply to it companies for technicall roles . i plan to gain practical skills .

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Dislikes

Hostel food is not good but eatable and enough.
Dresscode is on wednesday that is must to wear.

Likes

college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

my overall experience at the college has been good so far
the faculty members are generally helpful
campus life is active with various cultural and technologies events

Dislikes

one thing i feel can be improved is the amount of pratical and industry oriented learning
some claases can be more theroy oriented so more hands on activities and pratical sessions would be beneficial
during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

A Balaced College Experience With Great Campus Life

Likes

i like everthing about the college.
i like the supportive faculty behaviour.
the college also provide placement guidance.

Dislikes

Some areas could be improved especially the placement.
A few courses felt more theory focused than industry oriented.
Student enagement oppourtunities would make campus life better.

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
