Overall good college with lots of memories filled with.
I am mechanical engineer. The curriculum here is updated every year and includes all the recent developments. On field experience is also given to us by on site field trips.Practical knowledge is preferred more than theoretical ones.Workshops are expanding every year and new equipment are been added.
Placements are Average. Many companies do come to college for recruitment and even companies hiire but most of the companies are startups and not well established. Placements do vary in different courses but on an average 70% of the students are placed. Placement processes are easy and is supportive but average salary is approximately 2.5 lakhs p.a ,which is not very good.
College campus is very good. The best features are its well defined structure and availability of the resources like library and meditation hall. Students can engage themselves in different activities like Sports, activity building that includes Drama ,Music and Dance room.Alumni , Aquila , pathang , sunburn , etc kind of fests events are conducted every year.Marathon are conducted every month.
Cost of the course varies between 3,00,000 -4,50,000 but is not much worth it.From last 3 years the college has been increasing its course cost but in that comparison the quality is not much improved. So value for money is not as such worth it. Not worthy as of now.
Some scholarship students are there in my college. I am not scholarship student. So Government gives that money. Some poor students are very happy. They getting scholarships. Cost is well.
College infrastructure is very good. It has finest auditoriums and hostel. GBU also has classroom projectors , laboratories, one of the best indoor sports stadium and fine outdoor sports facilities. Although all are usee very well and efficiently but it also needs better maintenance. These spaces are clean but it needs regular monitoring. Food is moderately hygienic but it needs more hygiene.
It is ragging free campus.we have r&d cell & entrepreneurship cell.every they implement the best in college which have invented or suggested by students. Having grievance freedom.super senior's and juniors meet-up during alumni meet.help each other for job vacancies.they also refer new jobs roles in their respective companies.
I'm interested in my Mechanical course from school as well.I have gone through many advices later to join in that college. After all reviews I headed up joining in the college. First I approached college and went through laboratory workshops etc. Later then I met secretary of College and went through process.
Faculty here are friendly good in nature helpful during teaching lectures. They clear every dhoubt taught.Assignments are conducted every two months. And mid term examination are held for every three months.Trips are held in order to encourage practical knowledge.
