If sum up all the above comments, in my opinion, the choice I made to come here and the study was indeed a good one..

As for the curriculum: Being a student of the first batch of this program here are my views. 1. The 1st year is pure engineering we do not have core subjects as per the AICTE and UGC. 2. The 2nd year is basically the beginning of our degree with core subjects included with some other subjects as well Talking about the exam pattern : There are 2 MST's(Mid Semester Tests) and 1 End semester exams. -MST's are of 36 marks each -End semester exams are of 60 marks Talking about practicals.what I personally feel is important in our course are given importance and each teacher takes time to explain it to us until we understand it thoroughly.

There a lot of events celebrated in the college. Some are listed below: 1.college fest 2. Fresher party 3. Tech Event (for students to show their technical skills) 4.Interdepartmental competition 5. Intra departmental competitions 6. Tashan Nights. 7. Open houses (for students to put forward their questions and suggestions 8. Expert talks. 9. Hands-on training

The fee structure is quite feasible. As for the hostel fees it can be divided into 2 parts and can be paid in installments. As for the semester fees, it is very inexpensive. So more or less the fee structure is very feasible and can suit our needs. Also, the fees can be deposited in both online and offline mode

I never opted for any of the scholarship in the clg. So I have no idea about how the college scholarship scheme works.

As for the extracurricular activities we have a lot. We have parks, indoor courts, basketball ground, football ground, Food Court called "The Food Republic" wherein we have Dominoes and Subway. Food can be delivered to hostels too. We have many competitions in many different categories. Also in the South campus, we have a stadium and other sports too like boxing, taekwondo, etc.

The hostel facilities are quite good. The rooms are spacious. It's up to you if you want to live in 4 seaters or 3 seaters. If you want to live in AC or non AC rooms. It's up to you if want to have a washroom attached with your rooms or a separate one.

Well, I haven't met a lot of alumni. But I've met 1 or 2 and they have me advices on how can I manage my time so that I have time for extracurricular activities.

1.I decided to take BE BIOTECHNOLOGY because I like doing practical work more. As this is a professional degree so getting more practical is a must. 2.I chose this institution because being a young University it has already a lot of positive factors that attracted me. Moreover, my uncle was the one who told me about this university. 3. As for the admission, we had a councilling first where one the teacher of my department counseled us and told us about various opportunities that we can get after completing this degree. Then we were shown our department and hostels.

Talking about the faculty: 1. We have faculties who are themselves alumni of various prestigious institutions like NIT's and IIT's. 2. Moreover, their way of teaching is more like in a way in which we can understand a topic. 3.Also they give more emphasis on students who lag a bit in class
