Exam conducted under cctv surveillance.Kerala University of health and science syllabus is fllowing.yearly exam was conducting.Palakkad district hospital is the mother institution.computer lab,audiovisual aids are available for taking class.nutritionlab,OBGlab,community lab,med surge lab,av aid laband fundamental labs are available

Fee Structure And Facilities

Parents and teachers association fund, teachingfees, students nurses association fees, caution deposit (only for first year), audiovisual aids fund are included in yearly fees structure. Exam fees is before the exam. Exam fees for supplimentary exam is separate.

Government scholarships are available.Grants are available according to the financial status and religion of students from government

Majority is girls,boys are minority. There is no discrimination in any such race,gender or ethnicity.all of them are equal. Medical camp will be conduct by final year students. Finansial support from college willbe available.for all of the program college will provide financial support, special request needed for that.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is only for girls. 2 hostels,One Hostel is situated in mundoor another one is near to college. College mess is available for both girls and boys. Girls are separated yearwise. Boys wanted to identify hostel by their own risk.

I got seat by applying in the management seat.then the make rank list.I got malampuzha SIMET College coording to the rank in that list. I got seat merit seat in uduma branch of SIMET College of nursing.but travelling and reaching that place is so difficult so I take admission in malampuzha SIMET

Likes

our management always focus on students welfare
Good facilities in hospital setting and good supervision
Extracurricular activities likecultural fest sports day ,flash mobs etc

Dislikes

There is more girls than boys in my class
No enough class rooms at present but they are building new building for upcoming batches
Some times its feel like trs were more stressing on students

Likes

Campus and infrastructure are excellent.
Staff and facilities are very friendly and approachable
Good clinical exposure for students on every department

Dislikes

No stipend is provided on internship is the major drawback
Lack of permanent faculty in several department.
Prolonged posting hours without any stipend

The coming age scenario of ophthalmic diseases requires latest technologies and knowledgeful health care providers in the society.In this scenario Bsc Optometry graduates are required in the field of diagnosis, treatment, management of ophthalmic patients.

Everything you should know about MIMS college of nursing

Likes

College have a beautiful view and it's looks soo eco-friendly and class rooms have AC/air conditioner and have a regular maintenance of class rooms and college surrounding,
Teaching faculty are nice and they help us clear doubts in every time , 50% of teachers are very friendly
College have a great review in post course interviews and it helps more to get job after the course

Dislikes

50% of college faculty are strict and they are very negative, like they make us mentally depressed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it have a 100% job chance and also it's a medical profession,so it's scope doesn't lose Curriculum is relevant and it's really helpful for our real world applications and as we know it have a more practical approach than theoretical because it's a nursing profession. Course curriculum is very hard like we have a lot of assignments for writing,we get mentally ill after this course, we got no time for mental relaxation I feel like drop the course Teaching methods used in college are ppt presentation and real approaches because it's a nursing profession Theory class we get completed in 2 mouths , the whole syllabus will get completed like a bullet train and the next 3 mouth gonna be practical/clinical study Even in clinics the hardest is assignments, around 450 pages in clinics and 150 pages in theory Overall 600 page assignment is written in one semester Two Internal Exams are conducted within 2 months

not good campus structure is bad staff are good
situates on a hillly region so transportation have risk

I got admission in this college based on my 12th marks. I am doing BSc nursing in this college. They have total 60 seats for BSc nursing course. Admission is given based on candidates 12th marks. A candidate must have at least 50% marks in physics chemistry biology and english in their 12th standard.

Real life in Nursing college: true words

The process for admission is very simple. There is no specific entrance exm for this course. After attaining 12th marks above 80 percent can apply for this course. This college provides government marit seats. We should apply in LBS for getting admission in Nursing. We can select colleges according to preferences. We can apply through online by visiting akshaya centres and it costs a small amont of 100rs and should wait for allotment. If we got seat in first allotment we have to go to the college and take admission. This process will take upto 1 to 2 months . There is reservation of 5% of seats for ST students....Read More

Positive remarks are the college is situated at the Malampuzha and the Malampuzha is one of the best spot in Palakkad. Nature beauty is perfectly induced here. Calm and Quiet area.
