Course syllabus is well designed and is same as approved by aicte.The course structure focouses both on theoretical as well as practical knowledge. There are two msts and one final semester exam in a span of 4-5 months semester. In order to improve the practical knowledge of students daily labs are arranged and also lab msts are conducted. full day at Chandigarh University is quite chilled as there is a student friendly environment.

There are around 400-450 companies visiting the campus of Chandigarh University every year. College provides full time job opportunities as well as internships too. In the campus of Chandigarh University there are students from all 26 States and also students from other nations, a huge diversity in caste,color, religion,customs can easily be observed at Chandigarh University, University celebrates almost every festival on a big scale and all the students are encouraged to participate in it. At regular intervals college also helda events like tech hunt, to improve and enhance the technical knowledge of students.

Fee Structure is quite feasible as compared to other private institutions it's around 70000 per semester, which is quite low in comparison to other reputed private institutions running inside the country.The hostel fees is also quite affordable and is around 90000 per year.

College provides scholarship to students based on the different criteria i.e JEE mains ranking, 12th percentage, defence services if father or mother is serving there, or if there is any special quota for the student University also looks after it.

There are various extracurricular activities that are going in university throughout the semester and are open for every student to participate. There are various workshops and expert talks held for students. Labs in the university are well equipped and every measure for the safet of the student is taken under consideration. There are various types of rooms available in hostel.i.e. two seater, single seater, three seater, four seater, you can choose any depending upon your choice and the fees you can afford. There is good mess service, wifi is provided inside the hostels. The hostel infrastructure is quite good, the rooms are properly ventilated and ample amount of facilities are provided.

Alumni and seniors are quite friendly and helpful they are always eager to resolve the queries. University too holds important events like peer mentoring and alumni meet for the interaction between students, seniors and alumni of the university.

I prepared for JEE mains for one year after my 12 but after getting 136 marks in JEE mains I was unable to get a seat in any of the government college, I was left with no other solution than to join a private University for completing my engineering degree but the fees structure of maximum college was too high and placements were not that good then one of my friend suggested of Chandigarh University. I spoke to one of the counsellor and got a seat in B.E cse the stream which I wanted to join on the basis of my JEE mains marks and also got a scholarship of 10% on my academic fees structure. The admission process was quite simple and the admission cell is quite helpful and humble. Also Chandigarh University was the one where the placements for IT companies was maximum so I choose cse here.

Faculty of the university holds a minimal degree of Mtech or PhD, they are well experienced and are friendly with students, rather being rude teachers they act as mentors. They posses adequate knowledge about the course and try each and every means to make student understand the course.
