Remarks

There are pros and cons in every college. All of them I mentioned above in different answers. Please checkout that's all what I had to say. Thanks for this survey. Nothing else to mention about.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Here in India, Hyderabad under Osmania University the syllabus which they decide is years old same syllabus is being thought from past 10-12 years. Theory focussed curriculum rather than practical based knowledge.

Placement Experience

1.5

There are not guaranteed placements in our college because of less reputation out in the market. Although it doesn't have a bad impressing but the college is growing. There should be a link between companies and colleges which will make things easier

College Events

3.5

Annual day, literary fest, departmental fests, hackathon, sports, Ted talks. Most of the students takes participation. I think 1/4th of the college takes part. Events takes place on an average level. Neither too high standards nor low standard.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For fee the govt. Of Telangana offers scholarship. Hence no students have to pay the tution fee but have to pay other small amounts and exam fees. It's not that expensive because college is not a highly reputed one.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships from college side but scholarship is offered by the govt. Of telangana. They pay full fee of the students or respective of the college's fee structure. That's a good initiative offered by telangana government.

Campus Life

2.5

Labs aren't up to mark old softwares, infrastructure is not that much good. Sports rooms are good. Workshops doesn't take place in our college. No discrimination happens on the basis of color, religion, caste, gender

Hostel Facilities

2

No hostels are offered by the college. Although there are hostels around college where students stay. I didn't opt for hostel because I don't stay too far from the college. It must be average not too much expensive.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors are helpful they also organise some good workshops for the college students to learn some new stuff. They help us in organizing events and all. Also help us during exams. Few of them do this not all.

Admission

Entrance exam will be conducted at state level & result will be announced. After this the counselling will take place we have to short list & select the desired colleges. According the cut off of rank which any particular college is accepting the college will be allowed by taking rank into consideration. Then after college allotment we must submit our all previous academic certificates and pay some fee which is decided by the university and filling up forms. Atlast the seat will be allotted. I choose Computer Science stream as it is the most trending one.

Faculty

2.5

Few faculties are good atleast of the core subject but for rest they are not as good as others. They are qualified but some are not good in delivering the lecture. Some teach just for the sake of job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
