The college has a great infrastructure and provides courses on all almost all walks of life. The faculty is a lot helpful. A person can directly approach the Vice Chancellor if his problem isn't been taken care of within 24hr
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty easy when compared to other IITs or NITs. First two years are spent teaching the basics of all the fields. There are two monthly exams for all the subjects before the final semester exams.
Placement Experience
Chandigarh University is best described as the University with best placements. A lot of companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Dell visit Campus to hire aspiring Students. Around 400 different companies visit Campus every year providing job offers and industrial training. Highest placement offered by Amazon is 33LPA
College Events
Chandigarh University holds one of the biggest Technical and Cultural events. Recently The Punjab Youth Fest which is considered the biggest event of Punjab was conducted in Chandigarh University on a very large scale. A lot of celebrities and singers often visit the campus for entertainment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
80000 per semester for Bachelor of Engineering which amounts to around 6.5 lacs for the entire course. The fee structure is expensive than the government colleges but is relatively less if compared to the other private institutions in India.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship upto 100% on the basis of Scholarship exam of the University and 12th marks. The college also provides loan in which one has to maintain a certain criteria of CGPA. There are other scholarship schemes for Sc/St students
Campus Life
There are a lot of workshops in different fields of experience. There are many labs available and a student is compelled to have the basic knowledge of all the subjects. The student is allowed to have a better practical visual along with the theory
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are quite good and are on sharing with an accommodation of 4 people in a single room. The rooms are fitted with AC ducts which are compatible enough to keep the room cold during the winters.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really helpful and the Alumni are very keen in providing help and the tips to take care of while being in the college. They share their experiences which help a lot in coping with the daily life.
Admission
I chose the course because i had love for coding and i love to build complex programs. I got admission on the basis of my marks in 12th class. One can get admitted to the college on the basis of 12th marks,Jee mains rank.
Faculty
There is a mix blend of the teachers in the college. You will find a teacher who isn't much experienced but on the other hand you may also find one of the smartest brains. If you are interested in learning then I'm sure you won't be disappointed by the teachers.
